I think that's the big difference between him and Everett when it came to his powers. Due to the trauma caused by the first time his powers manifested, Jono never actually learnt how to release his...
It's pretty much the same deal as Cannonball or Ironman flying, Everett just focuses Jono's energy powers through his hands and point em at the floor to blast off. (or that's how I remember it)
In the spirit of moving the conversation away from talking about talking about the book...
I'm definitely in the 'it feels like ages since the last issue' camp, so I went back to check out:
...
Still waiting for him to learn to fly. To be fair, still waiting for him to learn to produce energy from somewhere other then his 'hole'. I guess Sync's use of his power was too long ago to ever be...
Yeah man, I love the nonchalant axe throw and Aiden's smile when he catches it xD
It's sad to say but I'm actually gunna be really disappointed if Kid Gladiator isn't in this issue/arc...
It really irked me that they forgot to change the font colour when Jono talks twice in X-men 40. Still it's nice to see him popping up so much at the moment ^^
My guess is that this new artist doesn't like drawing belts.
I really hope Chamber never leaves this book (even if it's been stated he won't stay ¬_¬).
He's not dished out a smack-down like that since Omega Red!
Yeah I didn't realise JUST how much I loved him until he was gone. He's still twitter active from time-to-time so hopefully he comes back soon.
I was expecting more out of the 'X-23 vs. ANNIHILATION's Cammi!' preview thing... It was like 1 page; why not sell it as 'Darkhawk vs ANNIHILATION'S Cammi!'?
Liked the issue overall even if it...
As a Gen-X fan who started buying Legacy entirely for Chamber's appearances, I totally approve of Maggot being brought back.
I'm trying to do exactly that before this run comes out but stupid Amazon sent me Vol. 2+3 before 1 !_!
Looking forward to Cullen and Aiden ditching the other Braddock kids.
Peter Parker will eventually return... (That's spoiler free enough right?)
Yay for Skottie Young being a Chamber fan!
Edit: Avoiding double posts:
Go out and buy Legacy #4! So many beautiful Jono panels! ^^
We're not too far behind
Obligatory post defending Reptil. He is the only truly heroic character in there. Kid just wants to help people and make the world a better place!
It should have been dealt with at the end of Children's Crusade. Logically the confrontation would have taken place at/around her funeral. Assuming she had a funeral of course.
See I'm not getting 'Badass' from Cammi, I'm getting 'This bitch is annoying, I hope she dies soon'. It's a shame you're right about Hazmat, we know from issue 1 that she doesn't stop being...
I agree that the pacing/impact of the deaths thus far has been a bit weird, but I really liked Bloodstone pointing out how ridiculous most of the characters are being. One thing that really bugged me...
If I'm allowed to count Shadow Initiative characters then:
Trauma
Erik O'Grady
Taskmaster
If I've gotta keep it mainstream then:
Thor
Hawkeye
Ant-man (Hank Pym)
Really enjoying Hickman's run so far. Highlight of this issue for me was Cannonball + Sunspot.
I was really surprised but I was getting the same vibe from the Camp Fire bit. I'm officially adding Anachronism, Bloodstone and Apex to my 'please survive' list.
Just got caught up on comics and read Arena 1 & 2. I miss Mettle already. To be fair though, with the exception of the fact that it was Arcade, I was expecting him to go like this since he hooked up...
