Lol, '...or not,' was kind of an anti-climactic end to that pregnant pause.
Looks amazing, though.
Maybe civilization is destroyed on Krypton and not the planet itself. Maybe it's barren and Zod wants to restore it to it's former glory or something.
You can't punish what wasn't seen. As unlikely as it is, maybe Kolarov bit himself. Maybe a teammate stepped on him. Maybe there was no significant mark at all. No official saw, so nothing done.
You could see Suarez was mad at himself for giving away the penalty. That bite was him childishly externalizing his frustration. He's entertaining, but he's clearly an emotionally unbalanced...
And I'm not sure where this 'Marvel isn't ashamed' meme comes from exactly. Where are Captain America's wings and buccaneer boots? Why'd they make fun of his traditional costume instead of him boldly...
I think the issue with a lot of people is that Marvel has had great success with a... less complicated (I want to say dumber) approach. Now some people only want cake as a meal instead of as dessert....
From someone I trust who has seen the movie twice:
Nope. No one's allowed to give details yet. He usually gives more details closer to the movies' openings.
Just a music message board that I frequent. One of the guys on there sees a lot of advance releases.
Someone on one of the non-comics message boards I visit just saw it on Sunday. He says people should be very excited.
Which is why I'm glad that the Dark Knight was 'a crime movie' and MOS looks to be a sci-fi, first contact type of movie. I applaud any attempts to take these things outside of the 'superhero movie'...
I'm with this guy.
Everything doesn't have to be Avengers.
Pete Woods speaks his mind on Facebook. Doesn't seem like the 'Company Man' sort.
From Pete Woods on Facebook:
I think the reason for the change is simply balance. Trying to avoid having the movie be a sausage-fest featuring Lois Lane as 'The Girl'. Newsrooms are relatively diverse environments and they've...
The Magnificent Seven had no prequels. Ocean's Eleven had no prequels. The Italian Job had no prequels. You can make a perfectly good team-up movie without spending 2 hours in advance explaining who...
The worst part of the new costume is the ridiculous boots. I think part of why this looks so much better is because they've done away with them.
2003 Hulk for me. They were both lacking, but I more enjoy the one lacking in action. At least it tried to be about something, even if it didn't work.
Which means he didn't always think the thing he is currently thinking. He came to his conclusion as he got older. Costner's Pa in the trailer isn't 'older' yet. His Clark is still a boy. He's still...
Save your breath, friend. Save your breath.
Comic book fans do not read new characters.
We trot out the 'make new characters' argument then ignore them when they're made. Leaving them to other people to read while they flounder and fail.
...
It's not condescension. It's a humorous counterpoint. 'The Prisoner' was an on-going serial work. No first name or last or easy answers. We got five years of Seinfeld's serial narrative and never...
If only we knew Ed Norton's last name in Fight Club. It was so close to being a great movie.
