I'm not a fan of Art Adams at all so I'm not exactly saddened by the fact he's not doing interiors. Too bad for fans of his though.
Only two of six issues.
Kubert is a weird choice for the covers. His style doesn't mesh with the interiors at all.
True, but at the very least the rest of the art team is high caliber.
I don't think that's been hinted.
That looks really bad.
But Angela has always looked bad so I didn't expect anything better.
What an odd question.
Don't think so.
I think Remender said that #8AU is Kang sending out the Apocalypse Twins for their first kill.
There wasn't exactly a corpse left behind for the Sentry...
I don't know if 'definitive' is really the right word for what you're arguing. I think that's something that is determined by reaction to the work, and in that context I don't see any other contender...
Justice League: Doom was specifically pegged as an (loose) adaptation of Tower of Babel.
It was definitely bigger than Siege.
They went overboard with the idea of making Thanos sympathetic. If this was an all-new character, the story would've worked fine, but beyond the name and appearance there's just about nothing young...
Jeff Parker completely redeemed the character. His Hulk run is one of the best.
That's not actually why its on her hand though.
Miss A isn't straightedge, but she is underage and the straightedge-X-on-hand thing is used to indicate an underaged person in a club so bartenders...
That's a surprisingly good art team they've got there.
I actually like the new costumes. Sure, they're generic, but they aren't bad. Gamora's is certainly an improvement, the only real failing being the color scheme.
Rocafort's art only ever works well with bright coloring...
Well, that's terrible.
If it makes you feel any better, What If #200 establishes that the only reason the Void was able to be defeated in Siege was because he had spent so much of his energy taking down Ares.
And it was...
Dark Avengers, which was basically a continuation of Ellis' Thunderbolts.
I wouldn't be reading Marvel Comics.
...not really. I'd prefer him doing something like the Secret Warriors again.
Even if Jr. doesn't work like they hope (though I expect he will, he's rather enjoyable to read about so far), I...
Gillen has said that Howard Stark figures in heavily... In fact, I think he said that he won't be touching the "man builds a suit in a cave" part of the origin at all.
Wow, wow. This is really cool.
