I'd much rather that the stories of the previous villains get wrapped up first before getting new ones.
The stories of:
Venom
Sandman
Vulture
Punisher
Kraven

As of right now, Wolverine "wandering around after WW2 and encountering Magda" (Ultimates 3) is completely incongruous with Wolverine "being captured during WW2 and being held by Weapon X for many,...
Bombshell previously needed her mom to use her powers, right?
Apprently there was a creature called "Hunger" that devoured realities and was eventually defeated by Thanos and Galactus:

I'm long past giving Bendis the benefit of the doubt.
Since the other half of the rumor turned out to be true (Fialkov on Ultimates), why doubt the other half (Ultimate/616 crossover)?
I just wish a better event was the starting point.
I think this will be another classic double ultimization from Bendis.
I'd say that there's probably a 70% chance that this version of Dagger has nothing to do with the earlier appearance of Tandy.
Our long national nightmare is finally over.
I will never read another comic written by Sam Humphries.
You know, I get why Wood wanted to get rid of Johnny, but the way he did it was really silly.
Johnny's fought Thanos, so to think he could get punked by a few soldiers is a bit laughable, you know?
I feel like I've made that thread at least twice now. But it seems like current Ultimate writers are content with just ultimizing new ones instead of using the ones that already exist.
The worst thing about these West Coast Ultimates is their origin, as it gives SHIELD magical-superhero-making-tubes.
This panel was also, by the way, a complete non-event.
That image confuses me. See, Brian Wood said he wasn't going to continue Spencer's "spirits" plot, and yet there stands The Bald Ghost of Ultimate X-Men's past.
And this is what I believe was the order of events, based on various interviews I've read and from speaking to Hickman and Ribic at NYCC.
-Nu52 completely overshadows UU relaunch
-Editorial...
This is basically exactly what they said before Ultimatum. "616 and Ultimate are too similar." Of course the only reason they're similar again is because, again, 616 writers have been raiding the UU...
Just bring back Spencer.
Hickman came out and said that he just gave Humphries his notes.
That's it.
Pros of the UU:
-better costumes
-a bit more grounded than 616
-the various meta-humans exist together coherently due to over-arching themes (genetic arms race)
-Always shaking things up. Not...
All this arc reveals is that Humphries, at the very least, didn't read the Ultimate Galactus Trilogy or New Ultimates, both of which should be essential reading for anyone writing the Ultimates.
I don't understand why Thor's shoulderpad's were abandoned. Were they really that hard to draw?
Worst artists?
The usual suspects; Land, Larocca, Peterson, Dillion. Raney. Kirkham. Luke Ross' stuff looked rushed, and Timothy Green II's pages were bad as well.
The guy on Ultimate Wolverine...
Needed Retcons:
-Loeb's Thor origin
-Doom's Death
-Hulk killing Parker's parents
-Ghost Rider and the Devil
Bendis' word doesn't mean shit. These guys will lie like there's no tomorrow if it means protecting a surprise.
Some more:
-Kratos Club
-Hellfire Club/Phoenix
-The Reserves
-What happened to The Punisher and Blade?
