Regarding Mag's power levels, it wasn't until his appearance in Uncanny X-Men 104 that he really showed how powerful he was. I think that was because he had a newly rejuvenated body plus the years of...

What?! Where is this info coming from?! Link(s), please!!!
Good advice. Thanks for the link. I would guess that it's either Allison or Lorna. The other choices seem odd, but you never know. It's a shame that both Dazzler and Polaris are homeless at the same...
Link, please! Or, at least give me the name of the thread. I usually come to this thread directly -- not through CBR's message board.
Is that a modified version of her new outfit or just an artist reinterpretation? It looks like something between her new X-Factor outfit and her previous one.
Oh, I see from above that it is...
Indeed. Hopefully there is someone out there who likes the character enough to rescue her from limbo and her back into a solid B-level position. That's all I can ask.
So, I was thinking recently, where is the development of the 60s X-Men in current time going in All-New X-Men? Won't these guys eventually have to return to their own time. My guess is yes, but it...
I agree -- and being that's not at the level of Mags, she doesn't overshadow her teammates as much (though she's still very powerful -- obviously).
What I find odd is that you'd think a writer would want to flesh her out -- especially since she's been around since the late 60s. Also, one could explore her time with the X-Men during the hidden...
Yeah, Erik the Red totally came up with that name and outfit.
I enjoyed the latest issue of Uncanny Avengers, so I'm not dropping it...yet. Coipel's fill in was vastly superior to the previous...
From a visual standpoint, definitely Emerald Empress. In fact, she even had puffy sleeves prior to the 80s. So, depending on whether or not a Polaris or Emerald Empress action figure gets made, it...
I'm only picking up the odd issue of X-Factor. My two criteria for picking it up are: Lorna's involvement and the artwork. She didn't have a major part in the most recent issue, but the art was...
I think the only thing that possibly makes Polaris redundant is when Magneto is more of a protagonist as opposed to an antognist. I imagine/hope he will be a bad guy in the next filme -- in which...
I'm not impressed with Cassady's artwork (or design sense) these days. Adams and Cockrum used to draw Havok like he was a white star when using his powers. These days, he is realy lacking visually....
So after reading Avengers #4, it appears this is the Hyperion from the Gruenwald mini, Englehart Serpent Crown story and some other Avengers/Thor/Defenders appearances. Kinda sad that the Squadron...
I like the differnce, because Bendis's Avengers felt too much like a sitcom too me -- where everyone made quips and had snappy comebacks for whatever was happening. It got old.
Also, I like that...
Ah, see I'm only about 12 hours late with that info!
Don't know how much you guys follow action-figures, but a bunch of new figures were shown/previewed at ToyFair in NYC this weekend. Despite appearing a few times in the Fwoosh's top ten most-wanted...
In its current iteration, Lorna just seems like a bad fit for X-Factor. And I agree with whomever said above about modifying the character to fit the team. While I'm not against a change of wardrobe,...
That is an awesome update on Lorna's classic outfit -- whereas here space outfit, sadly, was definitely not. I think she could even lose her signature cape -- and still look awesome with that.
I think it could happen short-term. Lorna's powers are also similar to Jean's and both Lorna/Jean were on the same team (kinda -- we never really got to see much of them together -- and Byrne ruined...
Have always loved it -- and continue to do so. Also, a great way of making her stand out from the SWORD character.
With the brief exception of the Mutant X/Proteus storyline in Byrne's run, I agree.
The space outfit took a classic/classy look -- and turned it into a cheap knock off. The tiara and the way her...
Even if she isn't in the debut arc, I'm still hoping she could show up down the road. They really should try to include her so that they can span all eras of X-Men -- not just Claremont and after.
...
Jubilee as the star of the series guarantees I won't touch this. Lorna, as the only female, pre-Krakoa X-Men would have been a nice addition. Love Coipel, but don't love Mohawk Storm -- or anyone...
