None of it made sense! So.. Doctor Hurt is related to Batman? Weapons Grade Crystal Meth and all this faffing about with Bruce's new girlfriend. It was just a mess.

Never read Final Crisis.

The omission of Batman from the JLA was purposeful. I think Blue Beetle could fill in Batman's boots. And, again, I meant "overly-complex".
