I quite like the first glimpse of Storm's new DOFP look, she looks tough and its great to see her signature cape shape!
Um, I don't think you got the joke.
Can somebody with twitter tweet Bryan Singer and ask him if Storm will appear in this X-men film, because she was absent in the first three?
Storm had increasingly more to do with each film but was still written hideously out of character, which was never Halle's fault. Her deliver may not be the best but the script truly dictated her...
This one is perfect!! Iman has the stature, otherworldliness, grace and beauty to play an ideal Storm.

In that case, maybe one of the scriptwriters from the first 3 X-Men movies should do it then!

To clarify, I was referring to Marvel never trying a Storm ongoing series.
Marvel has chosen to not let Storm flourish as a solo star for decades. Her time in the spotlight is LONG overdue.
THIS. Listen, Marvel, then take action.
Really, I just want Storm to have more actual influence. Enforcing her own point of view and (perhaps radical?) outlook with confidence (similar to Inferno). The X-Men has turned into just another...
So right. 2013= Storm Rises Again!
"Regular Jane"? What does that archetype have anything to do with Ororo Munroe? Why one would want Storm to play such a role is beyond me. She is the antithesis of such a character. You forget Ororo...
This pretty much. Freedom is so important to Storm's character, and whilst a few fleeting affairs would be cool, I'd prefer to see her not tied down in a relationship at the moment. Her last one...
I thought it was an interior! Oh well, love Amanda Conner's work regardless.
Ru's persona and look as it is currently is so Storm-like, she is really one of the truest incarnations I've seen! Its too bad because like Iman (the best Storm casting choice to ever exist), Ru is a...
Maybe she'll be in the new all-female, "Fearless Defenders" book with Valkyrie, Misty Knight and Dani Moonstar? I really hope so this book looks amazing! The full team is yet to be revealed too:

I hope this turns out to be the most Storm-heavy era since the 80s!
A major trend of today would probably be dip-dyed hair. Its origins lie in the 90s but the was it is done today is unique to the 2010s. It is featured in countless magazines, in fashion shows, on...
It simply does not. Its true some people still have mohawks, it still exists as a hairstyle, but it remains a signature style of a past decade, not today. A mohawk hairstyle does not signify a major...
Agreed, modern superhero comics are nostalgia machines, sometimes it can be a hard pill to swallow. I would like to repeat that I really do like her new costume!
Haha yeah, look at nuDC, Jim Lee...
No past fashion statement is, I totally agree with you.
It actually is, my dear sweet Chris. In story, Storm has probably adopted this "new" hairstyle to outwardly express her new position in life, her new outlook. That's all well and good but how she...
Of course, the hairstyle will always exist and be adopted but it's cultural relevance is completely diminished and diffused, and that is my concern. It is no longer the shocking symbol of rebellion...
I disagree. Notions of sub-culture as a whole are dated anyway. I would've liked to see Storm shave her hair off (not entirely bald but close to it). Or even super long box braids:...
