Is Sir Edward Grey dead?
Loved the first issue, but very much looking forward to the second and the rest of this 4 issue run. I love that it is going to be stranger, because the stranger and...
Hawkeye to finish top, it is outstanding. Superhero comics in general tend to be derivative and poor, but this is the only comic I buy regularly.
LOEG took a serious nosedive after Volume 2,...
The Image imprints were originally led by the founding members of Image:
Extreme Studios, owned by Rob Liefeld
Highbrow Entertainment, owned by Erik Larsen
ShadowLine, owned by Jim Valentino
...
Hopefully Image will be in touch and they will give Karen Berger her own imprint under the Image banner. It's interesting that the Warners board members didn't get why they were selling comics for...
Vertigo lost its way long before this but I will miss it badly. It used to be pretty much all I bought, with Sandman and Lucifer and 100 Bullets, but now Dark Horse and Image have made up most of...
Brian has it ever occured to you that Disney and Warner would prefer to act as their own distribution and shopfront arm? I'm sure they are looking at Forbidden Planet comic book/ merchandise...
Generally, I find superhero comic books are derivative and defective but I haven't missed an issue of Fraction's Hawkeye yet.
It is the only superhero comic I have bought regularly for a decade...
I love Kate Beaton comics.

Pass.
I always look forwards to original ideas and innovative creators. I would say I was a bit underwhelmed with the art and story. Dark Horse really did a great job of building anticipation for this...
This is so depressing.
Jim Lee and Dan di Dio did nothing for their personal and professional reputations in that interview. Glad Lee finds the whole thing so funny, he can't seem to stop...
I wish someone would ask Vertigo:
Why there are so few titles?
What happened to Vertigo Resurrected??????
Peter Milligan needs to be the Vertigo headliner doing whatever the hell he wants. The only comics I buy now that Vertigo Resurrected has been scrapped, are Vertigo mini-series back issues. ...
Vertigo is weaker than it's been since it started. I guess it's true that DC are looking to fold it.
I bought Saucer Country out of hope and it is a very muddled unremarkable looking comic...
Sigh... Is this work for hire on someone else's creation?
And what is publishing large numbers of prequels against the wishes of the original creator?
Our integrity sells for so little, but it is all we really have. It is the very last inch of us, but within that inch, we are free.
No Vertigo Resurrected?
I guess this has been canned and no-one is saying anything.
I am so so disappointed. Urgh.
A good decision is one where you can look back and say 'it was probably inevitable'.
This WAS a good decision, ahead of it's time.
When one comic program is available, we will see the price...
Great column, the only thing I didn't agree with was the Alan Moore thing, but on reflection I can understand why you felt so strongly.
It was always interesting and never dull. Sorry to see...
The cover is amazing, and the project & concept look great, but the guy's legs are too short? Or maybe it's just me.
This is exactly the kind of project I wish there were more of in comics. ...
Morning Dragons sounds absolutely brilliant, I would love Warren Ellis to take another look at it. I will write him now.
Would love to see Quitely's pencils. Is there anyway someone could...
Great column again.
I definitely think a part of the problem is that there aren't enough shops and a investment like the $40mil or even a large fraction of that would be huge for the entire...
Habibi is in the honourable mentions which means it didn't make it into the top 30 for 2011.
The list is actually good and with many pieces of interest, except for the superhero stuff. Action...
Batmite, I wouldn't tell too many people that you think iZombie is better than Hellboy. But I can accept a difference in opinion. Some people don't like Chaplin and many people love Adam Sandler....
