Greg obviously missed the edit tag. Much like I did. But what can you expect from a movie guy :p
Man...I wish I could get out there for that. Only time I got to hang out with a lot of Image creators was at Baltimore ComicCon a few years ago. And it was a blast. Now there's a lot more creators...
All of them? Really?
Ooo...funny man.
In addition to the fine artists mentioned earlier I'd thrwo Tyler Jenkins, Victor Santos, and Rob Guillory into that mix. Tyler is killing the art on Peter Panzerfaust, just a little cartoony but...
It was around Uncanny X-Men #165
That's Templesmith's style though. It took a little bit to grow on me too, but after reading Fell I really enjoy his style.
Read Fairest #15 this week. Kind of confused on the timeline for when this story takes place. It would have to be before the invasion of the homeland, unless it's bringing back a character thought...
Picked up the first issue for Templesmith's art. JMS is sort of hit or miss for me. I enjoyed it enough to check out the next few issues. Loved the art, and the story could go some interesting...
I read both. And enjoy both for different reasons. Both are excellent stories that really have no comparison other than the fact they are both comic books.
I agree. In most comics something like that happens and you automatically just shrug it off because you know that a main character won't stay dead for long. But in this one I'm not sure if there...
I couldn't do that...wait I mean. It always seems like just when things could go alright but Drake and Becky they get all messed up. Though reading it in chunks could be cool, I gotta have my...
I can see where you're coming from. I enjoyed the first issue quite a bit, but it did seem a little fast on the read. Still excited to see where the story is heading with the second issue. I...
Just finished the newest issue last night! Holy crud what a cliffhanger ending. Can't wait to see how this gets resolved, and if it'll be a good ending for all involved.
Already?! Dang I didnt' think it had been a month yet. That's cool though, because I want to see where this goes.
That's the way I've been. Haven't picked up any of his other stuff because I missed the first couple of issues. But this one I jumped on from the beginning and am happy that I did.
Yes they are worth finding. There are 4 HCs (vol 1, 2.1, 2.2, and 3) or TPBs (same breakdown), and all are available through Amazon (I believe). But as albone points out, if you get a chance to go...
I think at FablesCon Bill said that the Buffkin stories will be their own trade, or at least in the Deluxe edition that covers those issues. But I'm pretty sure he mentioned a Buffkin trade. Either...
I picked it up and read it this weekend (thankfully an email to my LCS got me the last copy they had in the shop), and really enjoyed it. I can't wait to read more.
Did anyone else pick up the first issue of vol. 4? It was great to be back in the land the Oeming and Glass have created for this series.
My brother was doing a fund raiser for school, and they were selling comic book subscriptions. My Mom told me I could order two, and since it was the late 70s I of course picked Star Wars and...
Just two more days until issue 1 drops. Very excited to see this back on the stands. It's shaping up to be a fantastic final arc.
Really the only comparison between the two is they both have mice with swords. David and Bryan are telling two completely different stories. Both are fantastic and if you're a fan of one you should...
Very excited for this series to start back up! Cannot wait.
In anticipation of Vol. 4 starting up next week I'm bringing this thread back!
Can't wait for this book to be back on the stands so hopefully we can get some good discussion going about it.
