On my re-read I put it after the first arc, so issue 5, and it seemed to work perfectly.

Damn, I have always liked Patch since his run on Cable & Deadpool and it was part of the reason I picked up Shadowman.

Luckily, I am now enjoying Shadowman as it's own entity so I will continue...

I felt that this issue was a great way to wrap up the arc and head it off to the Harbinger Wars. This is another title where the supporting characters are written stronger than the main character...

The supporting cast (especially the villains) is what makes Shadowman, IMO. It is one of the rare comics where the cast does not revolve around the central character but the other way around.

Grab Harbinger. It is easily the best Valiant title and that says something because all the titles are really good.

One thing I have noticed with the Valiant books is the supporting characters are far more intriguing which just adds to the overall story and universe....
