I thought the art was nice. The story, not so sure.
I really liked the first issue and I am looking forward to next week.
I liked this book and I am looking forward to the second issue. I would guess maybe TPB once a number of issues are out, but that is pure speculation.
I think Saga reads better as a monthly title than it does in trade. It is definitely space apera, or science fantasy, not science fiction, imo. I see it as pulpy serialized fiction.
I also think...
Retcon strikes again!
Mystique. I think it may have been tried.
Her history/powers/hotness/versatility would offer a lot of options for an ongoing.
I have one caveat though. I don't want my villains to be...
I think Incredible Hulk 180 is going up because for many collectors, at current prices, 181 is simply way out of their price range. A nice copy of 180 is an alternative, less expensive comic, thus...
I watch about two episodes before vomiting in my mouth.
I don't understand the logic here. You want it but you don't want it due to CGC? That is exactly what is wrong with slabs.
What is annoying is the censoring of nudity and sex while the same people just ignore massive and grotesque violence against individuals and humanity in general.
In the late 80s, as a poor high school student, I had an opportunity to buy a mint, first printing, TMNT #1. I was very much into TMNT as I had the second printing #1 and all the larger format books....
Maybe it is because of the delays, but I found this issue kind of lacking.
Just read the trade, then immediately had to buy back issues to get caught up. Loving this title. I think the story, pace, and humor all appeal to my taste.
Hawkguy rules, bro!
I had to make room on my pull list for Hawkeye since the trade rocked so I had to drop something (a rule I have to follow). Peter Panzerfaust no longer made the cut.
I have really lost interest in...
I just read the first trade. It was one of he better reads I have had in a while. I am going to have to add this to my monthly pull.
Maybe that is the point. This dude is so powerful, resource rich, and deluded that he can and does have a tiger. Think Mike Tyson in The Hangover.
We know absolutely nothing about the physiology of Lying Cat. For all we know, that species flutters around in the vacuum of space normally. Not to mention the 'magic.'
Verified signatures are over-rated; just like 'Certificates of Authenticity' (CofA) in my book. These are scams to get amateurs to overpay for stuff. I hate this kind of garbage, just like I hate...
I hate all slabs, but I am kinda old-school in that regard. But that someone went to all that effort just to get a signature series on a reprint is mind boggling.
I like that Eric has zero qualms about using his armor to its full potential to kick ass. Sometimes it gets old reading about heroes who hold back all the time.
E Gerber Archives - Golden Age size would be my recommendation for any book which you want to keep in good shape as an investment. I do recommend a backing board too; use a full back for good stuff....
I find it ironic that people who think they are enlightened can't handle when someone has a different opinion than they do.
I really enjoyed issue #1. Issue #2 was OK. I had to cut down my pulls and this didn't make it; just other stuff I like better out there.
Same here.
