Loved it. I thought the little 'cameo' by Yinsen in the beginning was cool.
I think today's comics are better written for the most part, however I prefer the format of older comics so I'm kind of mixed in my opinion. I dislike how decompressed many of today's stories are...
Ock's 'soul' if you will, is alive in Peter's body and Peter's 'soul' was in Ock's now dead body. All of the Superior Spider-Man's thoughts and actions are Otto's and not Peter's---this is why Otto...
I think if this 'event' wasn't so decompressed it would be more enjoyable. So far we got about 2 issues worth of story in 4 issues. Pages and pages of beautifully drawn rubble is what's sinking...
I used to watch that show but I found the acting to be sub-par (especially that whiney little kid who I think is terrible) and had to drop it out of annoyance.
Didn't Reed actually go to Heaven and meet God in an issue about 10 years ago?
I didn't mind it. I had no emotional investment in the Gwen/Peter relationship since it was before my time in reading comics and I thought it was a ballsy story.
I don't think any creator should...
What would be the point of Gwen returning? They will never allow Peter to have a meaningful relationship with anyone for any length of time and she'd be reduced to a barely used backround character....
I was thinking the same thing. Tony already knows Peter as a person and as a scientist completely unrelated to his being Spider-Man.
The original post is not referring to the Captain and Gwen. It is referring to their very much alive relatives who were part of the cast during the late 90's reboot.
That may be the most unattractive portrayal of Jessica Drew I've ever seen. Who is the artist ?
Thank you.
I only have the Superman issues of this which I haven't read yet. Will I be able to follow the story without the others? I have no interest in buying them.
Nice piece. Noticed that the letterer did not hypenate 'spider-man' on that page. Wonder if I can get a no-prize 50 years after the fact.
I'm glad someone beat me to it. Nothing else really needs to be said about this topic.
It grossed $752,216,557 world wide and was the number 7 ranked movie of the year. How is that a failure? (other than the fact that you didn't like it)
And it did about 1/2 of the Avengers box...
Ummm....no. I don't agree. How did you arrive at this insane conclusion?
You may want to let Luke and Jessica's baby know this. She seems to think she can.:biggrin:
Yeah, I'm kind of baffled by those that think a kiss is the equivalent of rape. It might be kinda creepy, but it ain't rape.
That's hysterical! :biggrin::biggrin:
What movie were you watching?
Personally, I think this could have worked.
I honestly don't know what I'm looking at half the time when Bachalo is the artist. I find some of his panels to be completely incomprehensible.
And his Spider-Man looks fat.
I do agree with that. I'm not a big fan of renumbering either. Let's hope that ASM starts up again at #701.
