I mostly read Image stuff in trades, except for Velvet and Sex Criminals, which I've started out by getting the singles of.
Yay! My local comic store has got a new bigger shop! It's been open a couple of weeks, but due to spending two weeks in hospital, and being unable to drive at the moment, I haven't been in yet....
the Locke and Key series. It's amazing. I'd buy it for anyone I knew who was into comics. Or if you want something with a bit more humour, maybe Chew
Is it the Lego Batboat that comes with a Lego Aquaman? I so nearly bought that yesterday. It had money off it in asda
Kill them in the ass. Haha! Thankyou though :)
He said he'll let me know by Wednesday, or when I go in on Wednesday. Currently checking my phone every 3 minutes to see if he's called :/
Really hope I get it. Will be nice to talk to more people about comics!
Hope she's better soon Jared
Saw it on Friday and absolutely loved it. Great balance of action and humour I thought.
I'm obsessed with Captain America at the moment. If I had a job, I'd be finishing my collection of...
Aye, you're right.
Sorry, I didn't think of it like that. As I say, I can't even begin to imagine how you feel at the moment :-(
:-( sounds absolutely horrible. Can't imagine going through something like that. Sounds to me that he's being awfully unfair on you though. He can't jut expect you to be fine with it and carry on as...
Still waiting for the delivery guy.
At least I'm changed out of my pyjamas now.
Run out of stuff I've recorded though, so either going to start on Breaking Bad, The Wire or Sons of Anarchy.
I have to wait in for a delivery today. So I'm watching all the shite I've recorded off the History Channel and National Geographic. Over the last week. First up - Banged Up Abroad.
Wanted to go to the US for years. So moving there seems a good start
Not sure I would leave either.
Biggest comic shop I've been to is Forbidden Planet in London. Even that isn't very big
Christ, just looked at the pictures, that place is at least ten times bigger than my local nerd-hole. Jealous.
I want a place like that. Plus some nerd friends to play with....
The only nerds I know are the employees at the comic shop :-/
Win! I'll be buying that.
Haven't read a comic in ages. My reading pile is fucking massive :/
Need to have a whole day away from the world and work through it I think.
Spent the weekend rearranging our house.
Never realised quite how many trades/hardcovers I own. They don't all fit in the bookcase :-/
Going away to Brighton for a few days this week which will...
Went there once. Never again.
Suddenly I See was on the radio nearly everyday where I used to work. Think I probably know all the words to it now. There's another girl like kt tunstall too, who always came on, but I can't...
Well I owned the shower.
Jobcentre not so much.
But many comic books!
Now I'm home and it's raining, so I don't know what to do with myself
Trying to motivate myself to get in the shower. Have to go to the jobcentre so they can "help me find a job", which they seem to be pretty useless at. Going to the comics shop after...
I got made redundant a couple of months back, and my notice period was finally up two weeks ago. I worked As a graphic designer and print room assistant, in a print studio that was basically attached...
Savage Hawkman has to be in the top 10 worst surely?
One of the worst things I've read
Crime Noir is fast becoming my favourite genre. Brubaker's Criminal is outstanding. I love it.
There's some nice suggestions in this thread which I will definitely be checking out!
