Gil Kane: my favorite comic artist of all time.
I began reading comics in '76 and there were so many great Marvel covers by Kane in those days. I was always disappointed by how rarely he drew the...
Yes, I was counting the CREEPY and EERIE volumes that have been issued thus far.
I hope that the new CREEPY lasts longer than 4 issues. I do love a good horror anthology.
The CREEPY and EERIE archives have been fantastic. I'm on my 3rd volume of the five right now. Beautiful...
Ugh, a play on "King Conan" if I've ever seen one. Derivative, trite and tired.
At least Rubi's back on art though.
I LOVE Empowered!!!
I love the writing, the art, the characters and the T 'n A.
Interesting that the article didn't mention the previous comics publishing efforts at Dark Horse and Avatar, or Frank Miller's involvement with the film franchise.
Give the artist credit though for drawing the speedster (I forget the character's name) with "normal" size boobs. That's pretty rare in comics nowadays.
Not to be too much of a smart ass but that's roughly 30 hundred people. "Hundreds" may not be as precise as "thousands" in this case but it isn't wrong either.
This is not the "first ever" multi-issue arc in the current Jonah Hex series; the origin story that Palmiotti and Gray told spanned multiple issues.
The interview was from 10 months ago and this series was originally scheduled to be released 5 months ago. Methinks that the issues were completed before Kirkman went back to Image exclusively.

I don't think that the character design is especially dervative of Spider-Man or Venom (except for the eyes), but that pose could have been taken directly from Spider-Man work that McFarlane did 15...
More EMPOWERED. Yay!!!
I've cut back on my comics due to worry over the economy. The "Project Superpowers" books ended up on the chopping block. The beautiful Alex Ross covers simply didn't make up for the vastly inferior...
It's a really interesting choice to use the golden age Daredevil when he is being so prominently featured in Project Superpowers at DE. And its ballsy to use the characters original name when...
It's DC's fault for awarding him an assignment that, based on past experience, he couldn't complete.
Yo Chris, I love your stuff!
Have you thought about making this strip avaiable on sites like comics.com or mycomicspage.com? If you did, I could then get your strip in one of my daily emails from...
Love that Amanda Conner artwork!
I agree with everyone here that Beast should be allowed to be in "Mighty Avengers". The Beast/Wonder Man pairing in Avengers in the 80's was priceless, and we saw a glimmer of that again in Secret...
Well, I haven't been impressed with "Avengers: The Initiative" (although the current 3D Man arc has been quite an improvement) but Slott gives a good interview here. Maybe he'll get his groove on...
I think that just like incorporating Fray into the current series, revisiting the animated series that never was in the pages of the Buffy comic is a fantastic idea!
I remember reading a piece in...
This looks pretty good.
I wonder why Steve is publishing this series through Radical rather than IDW, Dark Horse or Image (all have published his work before)...
This'll be great, I enjoyed the Ennis/Dillon years on The Punisher the most.
I love me some Kurt Busiek but without Alex Ross this project has much less appeal to me than the original.
I've always loved Bernie's artwork. I just read the first issue of Dead She Said yesterday and his art looks great. Also I got his alternate cover to the new House of Mystery #1 and that was fun (it...
