Yes, he'd have to do the work to pick out which comics to read, but then he'd get to experience it "in the way people who would have collected them back when they were first published would have read...
The website that was linked to should provide exactly the info you want, but you should use the "time machine" section of the website, not the "chronology" section. In the time machine, you can click...
Yeah Stumptown has just been two miniseries so far. Vol 1 was 4 issues and vol 2 was 5 issues. I follow Rucka on twitter and a few days ago he said "Still considering the future of Stumptown." I...
I agree! Rucka is one of my favorite writers. I actually just took Stumptown off my sig since the current series just ended. I'm looking toward to his next series, Lazarus I think.
Got the Batman Annuals vol 2 hardcover yesterday. Those wacky old stories are so much fun to read. Better than about half of the current books IMO.
Does "When Batman was Robin" from 1955's Detective Comics #226 count? That was his first adventure "in costume", however not as Batman. This story is reprinted in DC Comics Classics Library The...

I'm in for at least a few issues. Never heard of the new writer but I'll give him a chance. Scott Snyder said on twitter: "So happy that it's @CharlesSoule taking over Swamp Thing from me at #19....
The REAL answer to the thread title's question is that Judd Winick wanted to bring Jason back, and Bob Schreck and Dan Didio let him do it.
"The Thane of Gotham" from 1993's Shadow of the Bat #10 was a great single issue tale by Alan Grant. It was one of the first Batman comics I ever bought and I've re-read it many times. Batman went...
Updated my list on page 1. Made it to 985 for the year. I knew I wasn't going to make it to 1,500 but I was hoping to make it to 1,000. Almost did it.
I also recommend this story, but the art was actually done by Seth Fisher. JHW was just a co-writer.
The 100 year anniversary if Batman is in 27 years, 2039. Also that's the year Batman Year 100 takes place.
I was 11 when it came out in theaters. I wanted my Dad to take me to see it, but we waited too long and it wasn't showing anymore. I don't think it had a very long run. I did buy the comic boot...
Yes. That's exactly what it says, including the question mark and quotation marks.
"Self-generating"?
No love for LOTDK 100? I'm the only one who has voted for it so far it seems. I'm guessing the majority of people here haven't read it. I recommend tracking it down. I think it's collected somewhere...
If they had introduced "Batboy" back in 1940 instead of "Robin", we'd be so used to it today that if someone suggested naming a new sidekick "Robin" we'd think that sounds ridiculous.
