I work in the model shop at Laika (the model shop being a part of the set shop). We create all of the props to dress the miniature sets - basically we build the "world"...

Yeah, they wanted to keep that character under wraps as much as possible, so as not to give too much of the ending away. Ironically, several of that character's "freakishly warped" 3D printed faces...

And it's a pretty nice book, too! Unfortunately, the model shop is very much under-represented. There is a two-page spread with a few of the props that we created, but it's only about 2% of the total...

What the?! Wow, I didn't know that they were going to be doing overseas preview screenings. And so early, too! We don't get a crew screening until a week before the U.S. release :confused:
