* The "Big 7" Justince Leaque would be awesome as a counter-point to the Avengers and a 4th strong team in the MU. Throw in some of their villians as well to balance
things out.

Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but I was afraid my subscription only covered regularly-priced issues.
Glad to know I'm not the only one. And yes, 695, not 595. Thanks for the feedback.
I still read ASM via print subscription, and my most recent issue has been 595. I have issues left on my subscription, so that shouldn't be the issue. Is anyone else having this problem? Stephen...
Just going to throw my theory out there.
Dr. Strange doesn't attempt to make everyone forget Peter, but tries to redo the spell from OMD so that everyone once again forgets Peter is Spider-man. ...
* Kraven as a "mutant hunter"
* Apocalypse as an Avengers foe
I just reread the Millar stuff and it's my favorite, not really sure after that. One question though, didn't Bendis, not Austen, immediately follow Millar?
Edit: Nevermind. I see that Austin...
Have you ever read Mark Millar's Ultimates 2? He draws very heavily on Jesus for his interpretation of Thor.
Volumes 1-6 collect Millar's run. I would highly reccomend checking these out first.
The first four volumes collecting issues 1-20 tell a great story of how the team formed. After that the mood shifts with Civil War. I'd reccomend those four as well as Avengers Dissassembled. ...
It really depends on who is writing them. JMS gave a vibe that Peter didn't much like Logan but other writers have shown a bit more of a friendship.
I hope he has a stong presence somewhere. With all of the debate about too many "white bread" superheroes, it would be a shame to see a great black hero get lost in the shuffle.
New Ways to Die, Character Assassination (I think the tpb is marketed as Election Day), and American Son and probably the best stories from that period and the ones I'd reccomend checking out.
Tombstone
Lizard shown in more than just flashbacks
Roderick Kinglsey
Onslaught
Kang
Ultron who is closer to mainstream Marvel version
General Lukin
Time passes but at a different rate. For example, Spider-man went from being a teenager in the 1960's to his mid-twenties now. There are complicated reasons for this but basically the characters...
Roger,
I'm too young to have read your original run, but I've really enjoyed what I've read in trades. Glad to see you still getting to work on the character.
Not much in the way of crossovers outside of Marvel-owned movies. Fox could crossover X-Men and Fantastic Four, but those teams don't have a lot of interaction. Does Sony own anyone other than...
According to wikipedia it looks like his earliest appearances were:
Incredible Hulk 180
Incredilbe Hulk 181
Incredible Hulk 182
Giant Sized X-Men 1
X-Men 94
Add 19 to that and we have X-Men...
In most cases I would rather read a poorly written story that will be a basis for future stories than a well written story that has no connection to the broader universe.
This isn't directly related, but early issues also refer to the title character as "Peter Palmer" and "Superman."
I think what he meant is that at what point does World War II become such ancient history that even the retcons don't make sense. For example, the X-Men met Magneto before he was de-aged. At what...
First thing that came to my mind. Their story is the perfect action drama pitch. You're thinking Luke Cage and Iron Fist version right?
Most Realistic: Kingpin. He could easily exist in the real world.
Most Evil: Tough call. The all have their own motivations.
Most Sucessful: Reed Richards. He took on the USA and won.
