I would say that I'm an occasional Millar fan, and an occasional Quitely fan. Millar's run on Ultimate X-Men was epic, his Civil War is dece, as his Ultimates. Any else is pretty miss for me. But...
Let's see it :-p
Thus, he restores Peter's brain to Peter's body, realizing "Peter was the SUPERIOR Spider-Man all along." Saccharine String Section plays, while fading to black.
In my opinion, Peter Parker has an above average intellect, yes, but not genius level. What's telling is that you're citing an invention he put together at his inception, and not one that was put...
I'm not sure what you're asking? Do you mean to escape Ock's body switcheroo? I don't know. Call in the favor Loki owes him. Factor in that Ock would have planned for Pete trying to reswitch...
Agreed. I wish DeMatteis was writing ASM again.
Not a fan of Slott's run on the character, since the outset. I feel it has been pretty schlocky, with a lot of fanboy-ish-ness to it. Spidey sitting at the big boy science table with Tony and Reed,...
Not a fan of this at all. They said this is a story that has never been done before, but it definitely has moderate shades of the Clone Saga and Death of (Ultimate) Spider-Man, and a nice helping of...
Mephisto is great, and surely could be utilized, but there is great dramatic potential in characters who were slain while facing Magneto going up against him in the afterlife.
I totally pitched that idea on this board before!

I love Loeb, so I will be checking this out.
I prefer DeFalco over almost every other writer where Spidey is concerned. I haven't read any of his Thor work, but I tend to enjoy how he approaches comics.
I was hoping for awesome, and believe it's better than that even.
I would like to see Peter return as well, but I'm doubtful that it will happen.
Also, I don't Peter's death meant something. I believe Bendis said they killed Peter because they knew no one...
Can't wait. Definitely sounds awesome! I almost wish they would do it as a series of minis, so that we didn't have to have a fill-in artist.
I'm just going to point out how odd it is that Cyclops suddenly lost all musculature as soon as he got thrown into jail.[/QUOTE]
Yes, this. Amusing, if nothing else. He looks like Bruce Banner...
That's a well that they had best tap. Those 5 realizing that X wasn't a saint that earlier on should be plenty interesting.
That is rad.
Adult Cyclops: I kinda' killed Xavier.
Kid Cyclops: You've betrayed the dream!
Adult Cyclops: Calm down, I just had this conversation with our brother.
Kid Cyclops: We have a...
As long as the find a way for Cyke to be in this one...i'm totally down with it!
I agree that it'd be a big reach for them, but if you're going to twist the knife on your character for drama, this would be one hell of a twist for him to work his way through.
Loves me some Jenkins! I just got my copy of Fairy Quest in the mail today!
Doc Ock kills Mary Jane. Peter, driven by guilt, seeks out every opportunity to bring her back. When all else fails, he turns to Mephisto. But he can't make a deal with the devil, on account that...
I'd like to see the following: Doc Ock kills Mary Jane. Peter, feeling guilty, will do whatever he can to bring her back. When he runs out of options, he turns to...Mephisto. Only to find out that...
None needed. Scott is still in the right, and the protagonist of the story in my eyes.
