Exactly. I know a ton of people who prefer Pete as Spidey who still buy the book, and not even because they're actually enjoying it (they complain constantly). Personally, I'd rather not waste...
I know exactly what you mean. I've loved the Slott run thus far, though, and I want to give Superior a chance since I've been reading for 20 years. If I made it through the Clone Saga and the JMS...
Slott's been writing Amazing Man-Spider, too?!
I might read an issue or two of Superior, but since Marvel Now began, I've dropped half of my pull list (which used to be all Marvel) in favor of the Distinguished Competition.
Same here. I remember the last time Peter was replaced by a clone who had been using the name "Scarlet Spider." I was 9 years old and didn't read comics again for 10 years. However, I wouldn't be...
You're right, but Spider-Man's initial problems with the Kingpin were the result of him not taking Fisk seriously because he just saw him as a fat man.
That's good, then. I'm quite fond of the nicer stock of paper, but I've always maintained some nostalgia for the news pulp since my first comics were printed on that.
I kind of wish they'd go back to news pulp. I'm no expert, but it'd maybe make the price drop a liiiiiiiittle bit.
Or, in simpler terms, the powers and sudden attention going to his head and giving him a massive ego trip.
People list villains like Kingpin, Rhino, or Shocker all the time, but they were very formidable when he first faced them. I never could take Electro seriously until they changed that goofy mask of...
Oh, Darth...
And bring back the guy from Kansas who was bitten by a radioactive jackrabbit!
I buy a copy for every person on here who claims they no longer read, and then I use my extra copies to corrupt young readers to the Way of the Spider.
this. All of this.
In your picture, did he also trip over his pyro rig like the Shockmaster while someone else was doing his voice from behind a curtain?
The truth about the eye patches is that, post-AVX, there will be a "Battle for the Visor" to determine the new Cyclops.
I leave for a few hours and we're all not friends yet and still taking comic books way too seriously? It's serialized fiction. Don't like it? Don't read it. Don't think about it. Go find...
I think that was his joke.
Possibly. I understand the pressure covering a con can bring on, but I've also written for CBR before (back at C2E2 2011) and managed to keep everything straight. Perhaps it's not so much that I'm...

What about those of us who enjoyed "One More Day" and the stories that came about as a result in the time since? I'm with you on the Wolverine "Romulus" thing, though, regardless of how much I enjoy...
Don't I know it. All of my childhood references go over the heads of younger people I know, and I'm only 25.
Speaking of kids these days, and back to the topic at hand, how did the writer of this...
