Dodson's? Good pickup, if we were gonna lose Coipel. We're getting Lopez, so that's all good in my book.
The hyperbole in the first couple of pages of this thread was funny as hell though.

I'd have to go with the New Mutants because of the training they got from Professor X, Magneto, and Cable. For me, Cable's the trump card here. When he came along the NM were pretty tough.
My faves...
Synch --It was nice to see a black male character without some baggage or stuff to make him badass. He was a normal kid swept up in crazy situations and took it all in stride.
Bishop...
Good suggestions, but I couldn't take McHale as Cyclops seriously. Religiously watched him on The Soup and on Community. But Couture as Wolverine? Interesting. And hell, probably plausible.
Sunspot is Afro-Brazilian and Hispanic.

X-Men will probably get close to hitting 100k and perhaps surpassing that number. If it doesn't hit that mark, I'll blame it on Deadpool fans. LOL
It's got a fantastic cast. It's not Cyclops...
I'm not intrigued with any of the future characters, save Kate Pryde. I was hoping for future versions of the current student body as well, so that's kind of disappointing--but maybe we'll get one or...
Voted Very Good. I think Bendis' run has been very entertaining. I love fanservice...so I don't get the complaints about it, but whatever.
This is light-years better than Fraction's disaster. And...
Have you seen Rhianna's forehead? Yeah, no...she'd be terrible. And she's got less acting skills than Halle Berry (see Battleship).
Gabrielle Union or Thandie Newton would be a better fit.
I would love to see Rockslide and Anole in a more prominent role besides being wallpaper. They're funny together, all while having that Vitriolic Best Buds vibe going on.
Pixie? Eh, I guess she's...
I didn't really care or dislike Hope overall. They kept on saying she was important without explaining completely why. There should have been more signs about why she was important. When she in Cable...
If there's a 7th member...I hope it's Polaris or Dazzler. Although Lorna might be a bit overkill, as this team is pretty powerful as it is.
Children of the Vault versus the Jean Grey School students. I'd pay good money to see that. Indra kidnaps that a CoV with Legion's help, all hell breaks loose, and go from there.
JGS: Arena?...
Cyclops is a much better character as of Marvel Now! He isn't being written as the Marty Stu as he had been over the past few years (*cough*Fraction*cough*). I didn't like Cyke ever, really...but now...
In no particular order:
1. Early 1980's-- Storm, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Shadowcat, Rogue, Phoenix, Magneto
2. Outback-- Storm, Wolverine, Colossus, Havok, Rogue, Psylocke, Dazzler,...
It was great seeing Maggie and Sophia again. I assumed that they would be written out...glad I was wrong. Kal...that little bastard. I hope Negan and the Saviors don't torch the Community--but I...

I'd follow Storm in the end. She has enough balance of compassion, inspiration, and overall know-how to be someone I'd trust. One of the best examples of her leadership was when she...
Transitional 90's...it kind of meandered around a bit. I honestly didn't have many good or bad feelings about it in general. It could have been better or worse. Lots of solid stories in it,...
I certainly don't miss those Fraptions. Found them to be a bit obnoxious sometimes.
The immediate aftermath after the death of Kurt Wagner was handled horribly.
The best thing out of that era...
Cool move. Wesley Snipes definitely fits the Expendables style.
1. Early 80's - I started reading the Uncanny X-Men in this era. For me, it was the introduction to all of the mythos of the series, the characters, and the evolution of Magneto. The team seemed like...
I can't stand that Kitty isn't called Shadowcat in the books anymore. It's a great codename.
double post. blerg!
Banshee, Sabretooth, Sage, Amelia Voght, the Vanisher, Apocalypse, John Wraith, Maverick, Domino, Magneto, Sebastian Shaw, Sunfire, Emma Frost, Quicksilver, the Scarlet Witch...
Not exactly the...
When Cyclops' team went to Tempus' home in the Gold Coast, the Avengers showed up and were put on blast. He explained what the X-Men and mutants in general were about--about how mutants are...
