nothing?
c'mon guys :)
Hi all,
In the last couple of months I've read Bendis' Avengers titles up to New Avengers Finale.
I see the run so far as having 3 major arcs / sequences / "Seasons":
1. Avengers...
I do want to add that I LOVED Hickman's Secret Warriors, as well as SHIELD (until it just stopped..), so Hickman is not a complete unknown to me.
Looking for lengthy runs to read after Brubaker's Cap, Morrison's Batman, Johns' Green Lantern and PAD's X-Factor, I got several recommendations for Hickman's F4/FF run.
I got the F4 vol 1 TPB on...
I think my favorites were Morrison's Arkham Asylum, Gothic and JLA works.
As for the most relevant, I think the ones with obvious connections are Dark Knight Dark City, Son of the Demon,...
Well, I basically did all of the things you mentioned, and in addition to Morrison's Bat-run I read:
- Ressurection of Ra's Al Ghul, Battle for the Cowl and The Road Home as "fill-in material"
-...
double post
Realy? no thoughts on this?
c'mon guys
Also, what about the Many Deaths of Batman story from 1989 and the Untold Legend of Batman mini series?
do these enhance the various parts of Morrison's run? Maybe the death and/or Zurr-en-Arrh...
How about these stories? SHould I get them as part of the overall Morrison Run "experience"?
Azrael: Death's Dark Knight mini series
Red Robin TPB's: The Grail, Collision, The Hit List, 7 days...
weren't the Nightrunner annuals reprinted in Gates of Gootham TPB? I remember a Nightrunner story there...
Never knew this Shadow of the Batman existed..
I quickly bought this on eBay
well said Mat001. Very well put!
I'd recommend reading from the start of Morrison's run on Batman in 2006 and understanding the journeys Bruce, Damian and Dick have undertaken.
Quoted for truth
This just undermines the existence of Batman as a fixture in Gotham. Does this mean that the people he saved don't count because of Damian's death? IMO, not at all.
The tragedy of Damian's death...
I think the added layer of Damian's death is just that – a new layer added to Bruce's complex psyche. Is it good for him (as a "person")? of course not. But it is good for the FICTIONAL CHARACTER –...
I might just do that, though my favorite SD period is actually the one just before the "Savage World" issues (IIRC up to #75).
It was Steve Bissette indeed - here are a few links:

I ran across Erik's post from over a month ago, and I have to ask:
1. Is there absolutely no way to get the 1963 Annual completed?
2. Can't an agreement be reached regarding the copyright?
3. Who...
If Zero Year replaces Year One altogether, it seems to me this will also supplant Loeb's TLH and DV, early LoTDK, etc.
This also seems to make the Earth One Batman GN's kinda of obsolete, doesn't...
are any of them still ongoing?
I noticed that Glory has just ended (cancelled?)- what about Prophet? Youngblood? Supreme? Bloodstrike?
I still hold hope (against all reason?) that Morrison's run will indeed have a "positive" ending... Having a brooding, vengeful Batman seems to go counter to that hope.
Maybe Morrison is still...
Hi all,
I've been thinking about reading Bendis' Avengers run (as I'm a fan of Bendis' Daredevil and Ultimate Spider-Man, as well as a fan of large, dense comic book runs with respect and use of...
I suggest reading Morrison's entire run in order (from Batman to Batman and Robin and Return of Bruce Wayne to Batman Inc) - that way you get the most out of what is IMO not only the best Bat-run...
Thanks for the info, guys :)
any reviews / opinions on these stories?
