There is a difference. Death is usually not corpeal enough for a fight. Galactus is. Galactus provides nothing to the universe. And this cosmic darwinism excuse is an awful fit for a superhero...

Galactus has nothing to do with that. He just eats planets. He is not death and the intelligent life would recognize the overcrowding problem and would work to fix that.
