Bump. Am I the only one that thought this design inconsistency
was odd?

The comic is black/white, but was just curious as I have been collecting these.. 1-6 are all exactally the same design wise. 7 is colored, and 8 goes back to how 1-6 look.. just very odd.

Is the reason the zombie on the back of the hardcover and the text "book seven" on the front are in color where as the earlier 6 editions are black and white? Is this story...

Do you think they will re-release /print the Hardcover Saga of the Swamp things ever?.. I know you can still get them at crazy prices.. but would be nice to buy them at cost

Its kinda annoying that I will have to grab the TPB's that are being re-released right now, instead of some HC's ....Vol 4 is not the only volume with a crazy price.

I am curious about the quality of the Omnis.. it is a better price than the absolutes.. but will have to wait and see.

I have not read sandman yet... What version should I grab? I would like color, and not crazy expensive... I wonder what the upcoming omnibus will be like and if I should wait for it.. Will have to...

is saga of the swamp thing - Alan Moore worth a read?

Ya, It will be my first time reading the series, and I am not sure yet if I should get the Omnibus ($110) or the Slipcase Set ($140). Will have to wait and see

I think a few #'s are hard to find. It's too bad the paper quality it not that great in the paperbacks ( not sure if its the same for hardcover.. My local comic store only had TBP book 2

I can't find any info regarding upcoming reprints, deluxe version etc... Looks like just the paperbacks are being released right now with TBP #4 next .. Guess I should just suck it up and get those....

Any talks of reprinting the hardcovers?.. Do the paperbacks look just as nice on the shelf (spines)

You Would recommend the paperback version then? Will the pages be better quality and new colouring?

I have a question about the Saga of the Swamp thing, How many hardcovers are there with the green and black fronts..6? And why are they just releasing paperback volume 4? Is it a reprint?
