This book had a pretty small print run it seems.
It was already out of stock at some of the more frequented online stores a day after release.

I don't think sale were poor. It's already out of stock at IST and TOW, with limited stock left at CGN (if they ever increasing price is any indication). Heck, I think it was out of stock late last...
Thanks for posting this. A good write up of the book in general, and a welcome change of pace from the general negative tone some on this thread have.
You hope nobody is "stupid" enough to buy it, yet this if a thread dedicated to overpriced collector's editions of books whose content can be had elsewhere much cheaper.
Nothing stupid about...
So I guess I'm stupid then...
Have you seen the book? It's actually pretty nice.
Has anyone bought a "sealed" book off eBay, only to find it was actually used and had been resealed?
I purchased a "NEW SEALED" copy of the OOP JLA Avengers Hardcover and suspect this was the case.
So I finally decided to drop all monthlies and switch to only collected editions. I was reading about 10-15 titles a week, and it started to feel like more of a chore than anything (this is on top...
For the record, I would like to state I never argued which format is better nor did I discount anyone's preference of one format or another. Some people got a little worked up over a comment that...
So speaking of not understanding the topic at hand...
My post about "missing the point" of the absolute line was not in response to the poll, but to someone commenting that they weren't a good...
There is nothing wrong with liking one format or another. Someone posted that Absolutes weren't a good value, which is completely not what Absolutes are about; e.g. "missing the point of the...
...which is missing the point of the Absolute line.
...um, ok.
No offense, but that just sounds like a lot bragging, and by all means go on, but still. I thought you were joking before about throwing money at a duplicate copy because you couldn't...
That's either the most foolish thing I have read in this forum lately or the laziest.
I have to give the nod to Absolutes.
Saying you get more "bang for your buck" with an Omnibus is missing the point. These really are apple and oranges. Sure, you get more feature content with...
It's easier to rebuy a book than go into the other room and find your copy?
Completely disagree!
After re-reading the New X-Men omnibus the other week, it made me think how far off his recent stuff is. New X-Men had great voices for all the characters, great ideas, and...
I would say "no" since they are black and white. I don't know if I see them doing a proper deluxe edition of the series; how many formats can you publish one series in!
They need to solicit...
...seriously?
ok, moving on...
Having read them all, the 2 that stood way out in front were Dr. Strange and the Hulk.
The rest were average to good, except Ant-Man, which was terrible.
Your whole line of reasoning is off.
Nobody said you can't have an opinion. And that's not how you presented your argument.
A person posts "This was hard" and you reply "no, it wasn't." ...
Man, I hope you didn't go to law school...
...not worth it...
...what?
Lighten up and grow up a little buddy.
The worst thing about all of this? Needing yet even more shelf space.
So logic, reasoning, AND sarcasm are out of grasp, eh?
