Cant say I am a huge fan of Cloak and Dagger. I agree they are more fun as a guest star. But I suggest reading their 4 issue mini series from the 80's. I really enjoyed it, its nothing mind blowing...
Some early Captain Marvels...also purchased #5 as part of this lot which I already have so I will sell the uglier duckling. Been wanting to pick up the run, I really like the older ones. All four for...
Isnt it Doc Savage, not "Dock"? lol
For me, is Romita, Buscema and Ditko. I also enjoy Andru's stuff from the mid to late 70's as well as Gil Kane. McFarlane's stuff I do not mind, but once you...
Lol $700 a book! I nearly died the other week when I paid $75 for one. If you are a sardine, I must be plankton!
I collect...and in doing so, I have a little fun grading and attaching a "value" to all of my comics when I document my latest buys. But as it turns out, this is more just part of the collecting...
Something I doubt we will ever see, but something I think if tackled by a strong director, could be an interested movie.....a movie about Mr. A
Now, I have only read about Mr. A but I find his...
Here it is, apologies on the glare. Basically, that darker spot and then the spine wear are the only major issues. If I can find pre #10 ASM books in this condition, complete and still looking good...
Went stateside to pick up my ASM #8 today!! In pure joy right now...comic is likely a strong 2.0-2.5 at the very best. Spine wear, some creases and a faint discolouration on the top in the webbing...
Well I wish you the best in completing your run...that #8 was at a price I did not think I would find. Within my range and still in a condition that I am more than happy with. Very excited to get it...
Lol just when I thought I would post the oldest spidey Tom comes along with that gem.
Congrats man! I can only dream of owning such a copy one day
Tis true, ebay definitely does protect buyers. I noticed the tear there but as long as cover is attached and there aren't any cutouts, missing pages or heavy stains lurking within, I will be on cloud...
So...this now becomes the most I have spent on a comic. I emailed the guy for better pics but he never replied....I am a little worried, there appears to be some spine damage and Im praying that the...
Had to nab these...ever since reading the last issue in the series, I have wanted to try and collect the entire run. I would say this takes a good dent out of it and for the shape they appear to be...
Were those listed by a Canadian seller? If so, I was watching (and bidding) on some of those. Glad you got em though, I know how much you love Cole covers. I stumbled across em and thought I would...
The Child Within arc from DeMatteis and Buscema in Spectacular Spider-Man was one of my favs. I really enjoy the stories and art those two did on that series
I will echo my dislike for older DD stuff. Its not until Black Widow joined that I personally feel that the art and stories really got a lot better.
I love older Silver Age Marvel stuff. Sure the...
And also these....have never read any Kazar but for only another buck each, I added them to the same order.
Couple of purchases...really excited to read that DD ish
Thats how I feel...living in Canada, there really are not many places to go to see interesting a different memorabilia. Not even common stuff. So that is why I like to watch
I enjoy it. The guys are hilarious. I use it more as a way to see some cool memorabilia. The same thing applied when I watch shows like Pawn Stars or American Pickers. Try watching the show without...
That sounds more accurate. Since that insane listing with the CGC label says its a reprint. Hmm. Oh well, I still think I did good to get each of the issues I got for around 3 bucks a book:) looking...
I only have a few but always keep my eyes open. Maybe I will go after the full run, I though it lasted longer. 62 issues seems obtainable. I had a beat up copy of #1 and #2. But they were real...
Why thank you
People are usually surprised when I show them the variety and age of the stuff I have. Lets just say Ive been fortunate to be able to spend money on what I really enjoy....
Only comic that I have signed is ASM 97. I've told the story, how the seller thought it was just some kid writing his name inside. Lo and behold it is Gil Kane's name inside. Nevermind the fact that...
