Ben Reilly!
I like the synopsis. I'm not sure how this story is supposed to rock Pete's world, though. Once he gets over his gun trauma it seems like things would get back to normal pretty quickly. Maybe he...
That thought crossed my mind!
I found the finale a bit...underwhelming. Nothing really came of Leonard's goodbye. I had actually hoped that Sheldon's assistant, the one with the hots for Leonard, ended up on the ship with him....
It's not hard for me to imagine that the Joker suffers multiple personality disorder and Batman's 'death' could temporarily give life to his 'normal' side. But the great thing about Going Sane is...
That the message is confused and it's not as good as Going Sane?
I tend to think you're right. Even if you take realism off the table, TKJ's climax just doesn't fit my characterization of Batman in any shape, form or fashion.
"Sanest" works for me because it's a hyperbolic counter to the rather absurd claim that Batman is as crazy as his villains.
I appreciate the intent, which seems to imply that somewhere...
We talking walk through glass barefoot or throw a car at a helicopter Bruce Willis?
I don't recall this game, and I thought I'd played them all!
My personal favorite is the N64 game. That game had so many nods to comic history! I don't know that any Spidey game has come close to...
Slott's the one who brought the Jackal back on the table, though, so there's no reason why it can't have ramifications.
I half wonder if we'll be getting a different Superior Spider-Man soon...
Ha! Only if it's Parker and Reilly.
The idea that Ted gets over Robin and that frees him up to love the mother is a compelling one, but Ted's supposedly moved on so many times that it's lost any significance and it's hard to believe he...
That's my thoughts. I tend to think Bruce Wayne is the sanest man in the DCU.
Congrats, guys! Now end Superior on a high note and bring back Parker!
It will be an interesting mixture of cultures, and town hall meetings will be forced to answer the eternal question:
What wine goes best with pot brownies?
In all seriousness, though, taxation...
Someone posted this in the Batman thread:
I really liked Franco as Harry Osborn, though he didn't have much to work with in SM3. But he found a nice balance between the sympathetic boy who wants his dead father's love and a self-destructive...
They're kicking out the line this summer, I think. Supposedly the idea is to eventually get every issue of their major lines in print. Right now I think they're filling in the gaps between omnibuses....
It was a fun book until it got bogged down with the foreknowledge that Ben was a goner and became a slow vehicle for Peter's return.
Ben dating the burglar's daughter was good stuff.
The poor bastard would finally get a chance to pee! Just for kicks they should start the mini with Jack coming out of the can.
There was a movie bridge between seasons which explained how...
Wondering if we'll get these in color with the Epic Line, which will supposedly collect pretty much everything in a cheaper format than Masterworks.
Dan Jurgens did some of the best Ben Reilly work this side of DeMatteis and he didn't even like the concept!
Wait, wha?
If so, then he's probably explaining to the kids why he's marrying their Aunt Robin before their mother's body is cold!
