Just finished #700 and I have to say I enjoyed it. Well written, and Ramos' art is great. The idea of Superior Spider-Man is too similar to Scarlet Spider, though. But, I'll give the book a chance.
For the foreseeable future, no.
I'll keep up with previews, summaries and reviews, and if it sounds worth getting back into it I will. Whether that's issue #2 or #23, time will tell.
What this person said, QFT
There's an old Usenet quote from someone that if message board opinion was as universal as people think, then "Quantum and Woody" would have sold as many copies as the Bible.

If there's not already a "If message board opinion were true..." counterfactual thread, someone needs to start one.
I'll disagree there.
Nothing interesting about seeing how Peter will escape the deadliest and death traps or what Doc Ock will do when he's seemingly won and has got the Spider-crew at their most vulnerable. Nothing interesting at all.
Is the Wacker guy who has been posting in this thread...the actual editor for Marvel.

yep that is him. Also the Dan Slott you see posting here on occasion is the Dan Slott that writes it too.
Hell yeah I am.
There's very little "interesting" stuff that can be done with this premise. The only question is how long they'll stretch it out for.
You have very little imagination. Luckily you aren't writing Spider-Man.
Merry X-Mas (War is Over)
Nope, unfortunately it is a never-ending war.

Well, that's the catch: War is Over (If You Want It).

To be fair the Bible has a way better marketing team, also last I checked they don't stuff a copy of the first trade of Q&W into a dresser at every hotel.

I'd have to disagree with you al -- OH. Ohhhh. Wait, I see what you did there.

That's the reason I'm not going to try out Superior Spider-Man. To me and perhaps a lot of people, it was never about Spider-Man but Peter Parker. Though, I find it weird that Dan knows that (he wrote about it as you can see above) but had this crazy idea for Superior.
