My dog is sick. She has the runs. We were planning on driving 2 hours to my wife's sisters place for the day, but now I don't know what to do.
I like CBR, but hanging out on CBR on a holiday is not my first choice.

Yeah, flu season usually starts around January. Not too late to get it now.
I like the flu shot because it usually seems to dampen my allergies for a week or so while the immune system is busy processing the vaccination.
