What nod was to the fans was it by saying Mindee's real name is Irma?
Morrison originally intended for the first letter of each of the Cuckoos' names to spell the acronym SPICE: however, he only got to naming four of the cuckoos, Sophie, Phoebe, Celeste and Esme. Austen was unaware or did not acknowledge the intended acronym and named the fifth cuckoo Mindee instead of a name beginning with "I" - Fraction seemingly fixed this by having Mindee's "real" name as Irma, spelling out SPICE (including the dead cuckoos names).

Thanks man! I hadn't even thought of that!

Hmm. I didn't know that either. I don't get the SPICE acronym though. Whats the connection?

Morrison's pop culture references. SPICE like the Spice Girls.
It was an annoyance of fans that Austen screwed it up and Fraction corrected it.
The same way he wrote Karma is "under estimated" or something but it was a nod that she was pushed into Limbo.
Fraction plays with the 4th wall sort of talking to the readers, but doesn't do it blatantly. I kind of like that but I wish the rest of his writing were so creative and interesting.
-
SPICE and Irma sound lame though. It doesn't feel right with the other names Phoebe, Celeste, Esm.... ...hope they don't call her/them that now.
Yet another PC-reference: W.i.t.c.h. (i=Irma).... -> S.p.i.c.e. (i=Irma)
-
Morrison never said what the "I" was going to be
-
Emma is back in action finally in the new X-Force

Agreed. Who cares? Austen messed up the joke (or nod), and it wasn't that funny to begin with. And I love Morrison.

What does she do?
.
What does she do?
She gets off the ground and says Selene needs to be killed for what she's done.
Nothing to action packed but at least she isnt crying helpless on the floor

And she cried in her diamond form too...

So, is anyone hoping Emma leads in Second Coming?
-
Yes and I want her and Hope to have a good relationship. None of this Emma vs. Jean/Hope thing. It's trite.

Same here. It was old when Morrison did it.
And I'm sick of the boring sex scenes between Scott and Emma. Fraction, give us some S&M damn you! Emma is not one for vanilla sex.
-
Neither is Scott. It's always the "good" boys that like the kinky stuff
-
Yeh, and I hope Hope and Scott don't get along.
As for S&M: Well, what do you expect from a relationship with all american-corn-fed summers? xD
EDIT: Good boys don't assemble killing squads ^^
