Do you think Xavier should be (again) in charge of the X-Men or take a backseat so Scott can have his moments?
Do you want to see more Emma/Xavier moments?
What did you think of Xavier's dark side?

I loved their interactions in New X-Men. I don't want her invading his brain space again.

Puunk … long time no see kid.
No. I don’t think he should be in charge of the team anymore. I think the team has outgrown him and it would have made much more sense logically if he were killed off after Messiah Complex. I would have preferred to see that as opposed to the stuff they’ve got him doing now. But sense he is still alive I would separate him from the team and definitely not have him in this Nation X storyline. I would really retire him for a few years and then bring him back in a dramatic fashion.
As for Emma nahhhh. Not at this moment.
His dark sides have been carried away to the extreme. It seems like since Onslaught writers have been trying to make Chuck a villain… just read the early issues of Ultimate X-men and see what Millar was doing… I can respect what they were doing in Onslaught, but the rest… nahhh I ain’t with it.

It's been too long Maj. How are you?
I'm unsure now - at first, I wanted Xavier to have died at the end of MC (I thought it would've been a brilliant story). But then I changed my mind and was glad he was alive (though I wished the whole bullet thing never happened) because I couldn't stand to see him go. But right now he's kinda topsy turvy ... I haven't picked up Uncanny again and haven't read it at the store (bought nothing today) so I have no idea what's happening.

Meh. "New Mutants" never managed to wow me, and that art is not my fancy. If Chuck appears in "X-Force" I'll be happy.

I like that art quite a bit.
Don't bother with Uncanny Puunk. If you haven't read Legacy and Grant Morrison's New X-Men yet, though you should for their Xavier goodness.

I love the art! I don't even know the artist but he/she's one of my favourite artists out there now (apart from Camuncoli, Crain).
It hardly matters though, Xavier's one of the few characters that looks similar in every rendition of him.

What sucks is that I picked up Legacy [I]right[/I] after that one arc. Morrison's on my "to read" list. I think I'll get the chance to actually get "Murder at the Mansion" next week.

Mmmm naked Xavier. Just kiddin'! I hope Xavier remains an important character in New Mutants. I'd like for him to be focused on in that book rather than Uncanny. He had a large role in the first series as well and has good chemistry and history with all of the characters. (Some more than others... Cannonball, Mirage, and Karma come to mind.)
