Can you please give some new information and/or artwork for the new Guardians of the Galaxy series that Tom Brevoort mentioned at NYCC. Also you only need 12 more issues and you can renumber it #100!!!

I just read Captain American: Truth by Robert Morales and Kyle Baker and I must say that this story made me look at the current Marvel roster and wonder: Does Marvel have plans on utilizing the Blue Marvel (Adam Brashear), Pulsar or (a resurrected) Doctor Voodoo? I love that characters like Misty Knight and Luke Cage have gotten more of a spotlight recently, and I know this might not be a point of emphasis consider the AvX crossover, but I think it is worth considering since many of the Avengers casts have been whitewashed at some point or another. I think they would be great additions to the Defenders, Avengers Academy (as mentors), Secret Avengers or even the Thunderbolts. Even guest appearance in books such as Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Journey Into Mystery or Fantastic Four. To go further, even an Avengers team composed of mostly characters of ethnic backgrounds would be different. Just a thought...
Dear Marvel: What is the possibility of developing some of the New Universe concepts into the Marvel movies? If not for standalone films, maybe cherry-picking certain characters to include in supporting roles...
Hi Dan.
With the recent appearance of Cardiac in Fear Itself: The Home Front is there any plans to bring him back into Spidey's world? I would imagine you could work wonders with him!
Hi Dan,
I’m a huge Spidey fan and the Lizard is my favorite villain in all of comics, so naturally I have some questions about his upcoming arc in ASM. First, who will be the artist(s) drawing the story, how long is the story, and what issue will it begin in?
Dear Dan Slott,
First of all, we LOVE the fact that you are filling in this week. Thanks so much.
Now, the important stuff...
How do you feel about all the fantastic exposure that Squirrel Girl is getting lately? And...
Will Doreen Green ever get her own mini-series???
Thanks again!
Dear Dan,
I'm loving everything Spider-Man again thanks to you!! Thank you!! So moving on to my question. Will we see some brotherly interaction between Pete and Kaine now that he is cured of his degeneration? And will Ben Reilly be a catalyst for that relationship?
I have a couple of questions....
Dear Marvel:
With Bendis wrapping up Moon Knight and his runs on Avengers and New Avengers is he going to be doing anything else in the Marvel Universe? I know he will be doing Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-man but is that all?
Are there any plans for what is going to happen to Black Panther after the series finishes this year?
Is Punisher MAX really over for good? Will that leave only Deadpool MAX as the only MAX title? Is the MAX label being phased out?
Will the Ends of the Earth features the FF trying to assist Spider-man on his quest to stop the Sinester Six's global plan ?
Also, will Avengers vs X-men be mention or affect Spider-man in some way ?
Dear Mr. Slott: What are the chances that Prowler or Rocket Racer will have a guest appearance in a Spidey book this year?
when are the disney books (uncle scrooge, mickey etc) coming back i need my scrooge fix.
Welcome to Axel-in-Charge, Mr. Slott! I have two questions to ask you and Mr Alonso.
1. Warren Ellis had just recently concluded a spectacular run on Secret Avengers which showcased science fiction at its best. Is there any work lined up for him at Marvel for the rest of the year?
2. Could you give us some clues, hints or details regarding this summer's Spidey-related symbiote event, which had been alluded to in the April solicitations?
I would also like to commend Mr. Slott on his creative and engaging stories. Amazing Spider-Man is one of the most consistently good series out there and it is my favourite title every month.
Thank you.
Dan Slott! Would it be fair to say that the Winter Guard are not dead, but are instead living in a MOON BASE?
Dan,
Tom Brevoort said last year that the Spider-crew thought of Spidey rooming with Torch which couldn't be because Johnny was fated to die. Now that he's back and Hickman has him rooming with Spidey in FF #17, will you do a story about them together in ASM? Does this tie-in to Johnny's guest appearance in ASM #680-681? Will the Torch play a significant role in Spidey's Doc Ock adventures?
Mr. Slott, I see you are involved with the upcoming all-ages Spider-Man title which is fantastic and all, but what do you think of the mainstream comics making an effort to appeal to all ages and all readers?
For me, even when the Marvel Adventures books have been good I've disliked the aspect that the stories might not "count" in the scheme of things.
I don't think being appropriate for all ages means "dumbing down," either. I started collecting comics at age 10 and although there were adult situations (oh no! Hawkeye and Mockingbird might divorce because she killed the Phantom Rider!) they were easy to follow, fun to randomly pick an issue, and jump on.
The only exceptions to this rule have been books like Batman Adventures which were brilliant and in their own world that built in and around itself.
I guess I was a bit wordy in explaining that, so to make it simpler, why not just make (or continue to make) Amazing accessible to a kid reader, or have a second, in-continuity title that might be more easy-reading but still part of the "real" Spider-Man story?
