This is more of an idea/request than a question, so do with it what you will.

When "Dark Reign" finally ends, do you think we'd be able to see the events that took place through Norman Osborn's eyes (if he survives)? Maybe in a large one-shot or miniseries. I'd be very interested in that, and I imagine many others would be, too.

Seeing this new world order purely through his eyes could put a spin on it that most people haven't even thought about or maybe are just too near-sighted to notice. Does he truly think he's doing good by the world, or is he just pretending to have it's best interests at heart? Enquiring minds want to know.

We could watch as he sees his vision of the world fall apart, and why he thinks he was doing the right thing, why he thinks he is a hero (albeit through shady means). Or maybe he's just a psychotic, megalomaniacal villian who just wants a semblance of control.

Recently talking to an english friend i said that i was jealous becasue within the Marvel universe he had two quite cool superheroes.Captain Britain, Union Jack .
It was then that we realized that the marvel universe ( to the best of our knowledge) doesnt have a Australian superhero. Now Israel has Sabra.England has the above mentioned superheroes, Canada has Wolverine....my question to you is....When will Marvel bring about the Australian representative? Follow up question( im anticipating an answer along the lines of "ummm..not really concentrating on that right now") Im willing to wait....but please lets not go another "70 years of marvel comicss" without a cool Aussie superhero...im talking the kind of character that bogans will tattoo on their biceps and Aussie skaters will paint onto their skateboards. I'm one of the many thousand Marvel fans living in London, England and I was wondering if Marvel were ever going to appear over here at one of the few Cons we have? There's the London Film & Comic Book Convention, and then the MCM Expo, and that's about it. I'm pretty sure, if you came, the turn-out would be HUGE and well worth your time. Not all of us have the money to fly to the U.S. and attend the Cons out there, but we love Marvel just as much as anyone! Even if you just send Slott with a slideshow of art...

I'm in England too & I agree with what woburn says. I know loads of Marvel fans who would absolutely lap it up.

We've never had anything over here, it would do extremely well for you.

There is also the Bristol Comic Expo which is the longest running and probably the largest comics convention in the UK that has been going for about 20 years. Bob Wayne is a regular every year and Dan D came along this year plus Karen Berger. Plus there is the Birmingham comic convention which will be in its 3rd year this October, very much the NYCC equivalent over here, and also the new Leeds comic convention for northern fans.

Any News on the New Cloak, and Dagger Mini? I know "Utopia" has delayed it, but for how long?

Any plans for a "Wolverine Family" one-shot? I know it sounds cheesy but, the Hulk Family comic was pretty good, and lord knows Wolvie has a strange group of relatives.

Kind of a Random Question but have there ever been plans for Jeff Smith to do something With Marvel?

Is there any chance we could see a Howard the duck one shot or ongoing in the near future? I propose a Dark Reign/What if? What if Howard the Duck shot the Skrull queen a.k.a. Duck Reign-Howard and his Duck Avengers. Drawn by Leinil Francis Yu. any chance? I would love to see howard without having to go all Where's Waldo? in Yu's art.:biggrin:

When it comes to teams that make sense within the Marvel Universe and can also sell in the real world, there only seems to be room for the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and new teenaged superhero groups. To last more than a year or two, it seems any other teams would need a good number of your top tier characters to make up for the lack of team name recognition or respect.

What do you think it would take for a team of adult superheroes in the Marvel Universe to last for hundreds of issues without a title that connects the team to the Avengers, the X-Men, or the Fantastic Four?

Do you think the characters whose statuses have raised over the last few years as Avengers would revert to their previous lower statuses away from the Avengers or could they support these kinds of books?

Could big name Marvel characters like Spider-Man, Wolverine, and the Hulk (who I realize is an original Avenger) who weren't considered mainstays among the Avengers a decade ago support a team book like this?

What do you think of characters other than Wolverine having multiple active memberships in teams or does a character need a solo title for this to happen so it's clear who has control of the character?

Have you considered a teenaged superhero team that has some connection to the Fantastic Four in order to expand that line, and now that Franklin's getting older, have you considered a solo book for him?

Any chance of Franklin Richards growing up any time soon? He's been around for what 40 years? and he's still only ten years old. If he was gradually aged to a teenager in the next few years he could move away from just being in The "Fantastic Four", and spread his wings into the X-books. We've seen all of the alternate futures We know it has to happen sometime.

Given the success of last year's Captain Marvel mini series, and the length of time it has been since Starlin's [I]Death of Captain Marvel [/I]....Would you at least be [I]open-minded[/I] to a story poignangnt enough to bring back the real version of the [I]original Captain Marvel[/I] rather than another replacement? (Or be open minded to seeing the poignance of bringing him back.)

As a long time and loyal reader, I believe it can be done without negating the importance of the first one, several plotholes have been left open and the character hasn't really been given a fair chance in today's comic world, would you consider it?

I am not alone in this thinking, so respectfully, what are the proper channels to take to suggest and/or make this happen?

1) I'd also like to reiterate a previous user's question: Any chance for a hardcover collection of Paul Jenkins' and Jae Lee's Marvel Knights Inhumans? My paperback is all beat to hell.

2) Is there any realistic chance that Marvel would ever publish a monthly comic magazine that consists entirely of black-and-white reprints on scrubtacular paper? I'm thinking of something along the lines of Shonen Jump.

Just wondering if you and the execs at Marvel are working out strategies keep the purchase cost of comics low for overseas collectors. Here in Australia, we are paying close to two and a half times the American cover price. A $2.99 issue costs around $7.50, while a $3.99 title costs $9.95. I realise much of the mark up is due to shipping and transport costs, but is there a way to reduce this, by say, contracting out printing and distribution to established print media organisations in other countries. I believe any future price increases (and I am not suggesting they will happen immediately, but in a say two or three years) will have the effect of alienating any new readers, and causing many long term collectors to serious trim our monthly purchases. Would hate to think that one day my beloved Avengers will cost more than $10 for a single issue.

Hey Joe, thanks for answering all these questions. My question is about the future of downloadable comics. I am in the Air Force and move quite a lot which makes it tough to keep books around and find when I'm deployed to parts unknown. Do you envision a point in the near future where I'll be able to log on, download the comics and read them? I'm talking about new books the week or not later than a month after they hit the newsstand. Thanks again.

Hi Joe, I have a question regarding this quote from this week's Q & A:

"The reasoning is pretty simple: we screwed up. The actual price is $2.99 and that was a mistake in the solicit. Future catalogs will have the corrected price, unless we screw up again. [laughs]"

Were you referring to the young readers books being solicited at the wrong price? Because if you meant the young readers books as well as the MAX books being solicited wrong, then the covers of MAX books are printed with the 3.99 price. Frank Castle has been at 3.99 since #66. If what you were saying is the MAX books are priced at 3.99 and the young reader books have been solicited wrong, then CBR needs to clarify things before writing their captions.
