No hint existed that the world of the Reeve SUPERMAN films also hosted a Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, or Aquaman.

If Warner Brothers had decided to expand the Christopher Reeve SUPERMAN films into a wider DC Universe, however, what were their chances for success? Would Michael Keaton's version of Batman have been compatible with the world of Reeve's SUPERMAN, or would Adam West have fit better (or would it be yet another configuration that never appeared on film/television)? Could the world of the Reeve movies have comfortably accommodated Superman's fellow superheroes?

Well, that was way interesting and entertaining.

Kara is already on Earth by the time Clark arrives. In fact, she arrived thousands of years in advance. But then, what is their relationship? They were born thousands of years separated? One trip took way longer than the other? We know Karaīs took ten years. And Kal-Elīs?

In anyway, I didnīt think Supergirlīs presence was going to "be" so strong in the movie. Since the Fortress of Solitude is the spaceship in which Kara arrived at Earth, she will be right there, in the shadows all the time, probably sleeping!

Suppose by the time Kara left Krypton, they hadnīt discovered the Death Zone yet. Thatīs why all the argue about the death penalty.

I still donīt like the kryptonian civilization, I could never sympathize with it. They werenīt planning to look for others living worlds in order to study others forms of beings, but to colonize them and terraform them. An agressive expansion, that is what they were trying to achieve.

Overall, I liked the story, although the way Dev-Em escapes from prision and manages to sneak himself into the spaceship is a little... well, the counsil members who helped them to do that, what a jerks! To avoid the council decide in favor of a death sentence, they put in danger four lifes.

It seems like everywhere we look (New52, Man of Steel, Superman Earth 1, Smallville Season 11), there is a redesign of Superman's appearance. In my opinion, these are great but fails to be the perfect blend of modern, simplistic, yet iconic- the ingredients for a 21st century Superman costume.

Nevertheless, I recently came upon a redesign envisioned by Brazilian artist, Paulo Siqueira. I quickly became a fan of his work, and I believe that his rendition of Superman is the perfect redesign (or at least near perfect). However, that is only my opinion.

What do you guys think? Since the forum cannot burden the file size of the image, I'll put the link here.

All honest reviews welcomed...

Forgive me if this topic has been explored already but recently watching the latest Superman animated movie, "Superman Unbound" it adds to the relationship that I think has been missing. Yes he is over protective of her and she is rebellious but in the various comics, Supergirl has not been utilize properly.

She can be a source of information about everything Krypton as well as its people such as his birth parents, her birth parents, Brainiac, General Zod, The Phantom Zone, etc. i mean its better to talk to her than to a holigram of Jor-EL. Least he would use the holigram until she enters his life.

I liked that in the movie, she has access to the Fortress of Solitude. Also, Supergirl living on the Kent Farm as the Kent's adoptive daughter (and Clark's adoptive sister) makes more sense than her being Linda Lee and being adopted by strangers as in earlier Supergirl stories.

I also liked how she conversed with Lois (her cousin's girlfriend) which made sense. Who better can she confide in (other than Mr. and Mrs Kent).

Rather than Supergirl being Superman's bratty cousin, she is his equal.

I have the DVD of the Supergirl movie starring Helen Slater and I liked it. Yes there were problems partly because Christopher Reeve opted out and they had to do some last minute changes. The love triangle was not needed however. I hope they do a Supergirl movie again if not a TV series.

Well that's my rant on Supergirl. Thanks for reading.
