To me Diana is the one member of the Justice League most likely to have an apprentice since she's all about promoting some kind of ideal. Batman to me seems like the least likely but he has the most. As for how she's portrayed I think they should try to take a realistic approach, like they did with Batman and Superman, and portray her as closely to the archetype of a classical Greek Hero. I apologize if this should be in the Superman forum.

We have been told stories about what would happen if Kal-El's ship landed in the Soviet Union and Gotham city. This got me wondering about what would happen if his ship had landed on Paradise island. While obviously we don't know what would happen for sure unless a comic was written about this topic (I can dream right?), but I felt that this could lead to an interesting discussion.

Would the Amazons recognize that the baby they found is from another planet?
If they did, would they try to kill him? Deliver him to man's world (probably condemning him to being a lab rat)? Raise him in the Amazon way, thus allowing a man to live on Themyscira?

What if they didn't realize he was an alien?
What would happen why they brought him back to man's world only to realize he doesn't belong to anyone there?

How would the various incarnations of the Amazon culture react differently?
If he was raised on Themyscira, would Superman and Wonder Woman have a brother/sister sort of relationship?

These are just some of the questions that have been swimming around my head since this idea took hold. I figured the denizens of the Wonder Woman board might have some answers, or at least theories.

I liked him, brief though his appearance was. He and Diana had good chemistry.

I don't imagine that he could ever work as a ongoing beau to the super-powered WW, but it would be interesting to see them cross paths again. He might make a good support-cast member under the right circumstances, given that some fans have observed that the Princess is rather embarassed in that department.

What I didn't like is the reaction of most critics reviewing the film.

Most of them are all stuck on the Christopher Reeves version from the 70's. "The movie was too dark", "not enough lovey-dovey Lois". "He has issues"

Makes me wonder if any of these critics have ever picked up a comic.

A word of warning: Should a Wonder Woman film ever go this route, they're going to go ballistic out there in the reviewers corner.

So it's quite certain that in eternity a Wonder Woman film will happen.

I believe that one very important aspect of it is how it will show Diana's power. I'd say she has four things that cannot be missed: strength, speed, durability and skill (flight should be part if too, but if I had to pick one to be taken out, it would be it). That is where Faora from Man of Steel comes from. We can say with some certainty that if Wondie comes to the big screen, she will be part of the universe that Man of Steel is creating. And considering the fact she should be on par with Superman's power level, would you think she should be like Faora on the film?
