In Tower of Babel, his plans were as follows:
Superman: Red Kryptonite
Wonder Woman: Simulation that would keep her busy/exhaust her
Flash: Vibrating bullet
Green Lantern: "Blindness" through hypnosis
Aquaman: Fear of water through Scarecrow toxin
Martian Manhunter: Fire
Plastic Man: Freeze and break him

anyone else think vibrating bullet and fear of water are kinda.. not very effective in a fight. and red kryptonite could wind up getting a lot of people killed by accident i think.

As far as Aquaman, he has to be in water to survive, so, if he was afraid of the water, he wouldn't go near it, hence he'd suffocate.

The vibrating bullet was so wierd and so PIS-tastic it was funny. Unless that bullet was fired at multiples of Lightspeed, that bullet shouldn't have hit the target.
Plus...hadn't MM gotten over his weakness to fire at the time of ToB?

No. he got over it later.

I believe that strategy was based on the fact that Flash's arrogance would cause him to try to vibrate past the bullet. Anyway for more ways to take out the justice league, read what Prometheus did to them. Equally effective

pretty please tell me what prometheus did. How did his own strategy differ from Bruce's?

LOL->
"Prometheus defeated Batman in hand-to-hand combat by downloading the skills of several martial arts masters, including Batman himself, into his brain"
...
Somehow he was defeated but returned later for a final rematch with batman,
who
"replaced the martial arts skills Prometheus had download into his mind with the physical skills and coordination of Professor Stephen Hawking, subsequently knocking Prometheus unconscious with one blow."

His first defeat came about because Catwoman sneeked onto the Watchtower and smacked him in his manhood region with her bullwhip.
As for the Stephen Hawking bit, I still remember someone tried to fake out Morrisson by writing a letter claiming to be Dr Hawking upset at said plot point. Alas for the practical joker, he did a poor job hiding his real location.

Yes...it was.
But it was still very PIS-tastic. Flash has the worst PIS/CIS problem.

I liked how Prometheus took down the Flash. He told him that there were sensors all over the Watchtower, and if he were to move one molecule above normal speed, bombs would go off. Of course, he was bluffing. I wouldn't want to play Prometheus poker.

Prometheus killed a hero named Retro, who had just won a "Be a JLA Member For a Day" type contest and impersonated him to get on board the Watchtower.
Steel was showing him around, and asked to see his unusual club weapon. As soon as he touched it it downloaded a virus into his system that forced him to walk down a long hallway, turn around, and throw his hammer hard enough to rip through the wall.
Prometheus then set fire to the alien forest that provided the Watchtower's oxygen supply, and then went to some computers and downloaded all of the Watchtower's information and blueprints directly into his brain with his special helmet. When Martian Manuhunter showed up he fired a phosphorous dart, paralyzing him with fire, then hit him with some kind of toxin that made him unable to keep his body coherent, and left him a puddle of goo.
Zauriel showed up, and he sent him to the Ghost Zone with a magical key he carried around. Huntress showed up, but as he talked to her he used his helmet lights to hypnotize her into remaining perfectly still, then knocked her out. Batman showed up, and Prometheus downloaded the skills of all of the world's top martial artists, including Bruce himself, to beat him senseless. Green Lantern and Flash showed up. He used "neural fuzz", high-frequency microwaves (may not remember that one correctly) that made Green Lantern unable to concentrate and use his ring, told the Flash that he had laid bombs all over the Watchtower that would explode if they detected the vibrations of him moving at super speed, and then shot them both.
By this time Superman and the remaining members of the JLA know something is very wrong, and, as the oxygen levels are rapidly falling, trying to get a group of reporters off the Watchtower. Prometheus arrives and tells them he's diabled the teleporters and the shuttlecraft, and that Steel's hammer is about to come crashing through a wall, which will cause a pressure drop that will kill everyone in the room. He tells Superman that he can get them off the Watchotower (through his Ghost Zone key dealie) but first wants him to kill himself in front of all the cameras.
Luckily, Plastic Man stops Steels hammer, Batman recovers and treats Flash and Green Lantern, and Aquaman manually diverts water from some underground tanks onto the burning oxygen forests. Catwoman, who had been posing as a reporter to steal stuff, bullwhips Prometheus in the nuts, and Steel, who had gotten a back door into Prometheus' system when he downloaded the virus into his, overloads his helmet and equipment. He escapes into the Ghost Zone right before getting a massive beating.
It was a really cool story.

Martian Manhunter: FireTo be more specific, Bruce's plan involved nanotechnology that perpetually set J'onn's skin on fire.
Even Prometheus was gentler than that. Batman's one sadistic mother.

IIRC he joined Luthor's society, and then Deathstroke beat him up urealistically easily and took his Ghost Zone key. But I could be wrong, only briefly read it in the store.
