So looking back at the year what has been the book that you have enjoyed the most or has had the most profound effect on you.
Now I've asked the question I can't remember what I read.
But I loved Cloud Atlas and The Time Traveller's Wife actually made me cry.
What did it for you?

Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman.
But to be fair, I've probably only read three books from 2005.

Probably the book I enjoyed the most was the knight by wolfe.
The one that Ill probably remember the most was the forgotten soldier by Guy Sajer. Which is memoir of a half german half french soldier on the eastern front in wwii and talk about brutal. Parts of it are unbelievable.

I'm always amazed at how many books some people will read, and I'm an English student.
I really dug Anansi Boys, not sure if I read any others from 2005.
