During the period when Sasha was hanging around Wayne Manor, first as Bruce Wayne's bodyguard and then doubling as Batman's latest costumed assistant after she learned his secret, did she ever come face to face with Cassandra Cain, in the Batgirl costume or otherwise, in any scenes we actually saw in the comic books?
I'm drawing a total blank on this and I'd like to know if we ever saw them interacting - or definitely never saw them interacting! - as research for something funny I'm trying to write for the holiday season :)

I don't recall such a thing, but if it did happen, it was most likely during the Scott Beatty run of Gotham Knights.

I know Sasha met the Huntress in Last Laugh, but I'm not sure about Cassandra.

I know Sasha met the Huntress in Last Laugh, but I'm not sure about Cassandra.
Around the time I actually posted this yesterday, I suddenly remembered that it was only during the "Bruce Wayne: Murderer?" storyline that Cassandra visited Wayne Manor - apparently for the first time in her life - and saw Bruce being taken away in handcuffs by the cops, and realized at a glance from his body language who he was (Batman). If she had never visited the Manor before, and never socialized with Bruce Wayne in his secret identity, then she had very likely never bumped into Sasha before either (although it's possible).
Which was a pity, because it conflicted with my story idea.
Then I said, "Heck with it! Who cares? I'll go ahead and write the funny little fanfic I had in mind anyway, set vaguely at a time when Sasha and Cassandra had become acquainted, but before the death of Vesper Fairchild. If that's a huge retcon, so be it!" :)
(Let's face it - all the available evidence these days suggests that DC is much likelier to give a guy a chance as a comic book writer if he proves he knows how to shamelessly and gratuitously retcon anything he feels like, for the sake of wanting to tell one "special" story and then leave the mess for others to worry about! Isn't it about time I proved I have what it takes in that department? ;))
