Does anyone know of any good novels dealing with psionics/parapsychology/ ESP within a conspiratorial 'real world' setting?
Books along the lines of
Firestarter or The Dead Zone
The movie "Scanners"
the comic series "ESPers"
etc.
Thank you and may your alpha waves be large ones flowing freely from the potent pituitary gland of power.

It's only slightly a book about psychics and conspiracies, but I really enjoyed The Philosopher's Stone by Colin Wilson

Have you seen Brian de Palma's film "the fury"? Not his best, but it fits your description to a T. Psychokinesis, conspiracy, shady government operations, it's all there.

I haven't seen that in, probably, 25 years. I better put it in my Netflix queue.
Thanks. ;)
Edited to say: The Necroscope novels by Brian Lumley can kinda fit in this category too (at least the early ones with all the 70s cold war conspiracy goodness).

I'm not sure if it fits in your catagory but you may like the Dresden Files.
