Hey all!
Remember that "Untold Legend Of The Batman" series? Anyway, I was hoping someone could help me find a scan of the law professor scene in the first issue, where Bruce is shown the difference between law and justice. I needed it for my Criminal Law class.

Uh... Anyone?
I wish I could help you out, buddy, but I've never heard of this "Untold Legend Of The Batman." I did a quick Google search, but all I've come up with is the cover pictures. Sorry, man.

BAck in "Zero Hour" they ran a little side story in all the "zero" installments of the Bat titles where Robin learned a secret about Batman. I cannot for the life of me recall what that was but that is the only untold thing I can think of.
Did they ever tell where exactlt Bruce went during "Prodigal"? I have always felt that was a really rich time period from which to draw good stories from.

It's from the 80's... Jim Aparo art I believe.

Hey mate, I have the page you're after (the one where Bruce says "But is that justice, Professor Rexford?" and the Professor answers "No, Mister Wayne...that's the Law!") but I've never used my new scanner before and I can't get the damn thing to attatch to this reply. Check back later today or tomorrow and it should be here.

Incidentally, it's a really great read. I've got it in a black-and-white copy the same size as a paperback novel, so not the most traditional format for comics, but I really enjoyed it. Made me wish Crisis hadn't done everything over. Does anyone know if any of the Pre-Crisis stuff in this book, like Bruce's training (going to law school and dropping out, wanting to be a police officer etc.) and his experiences as Batman (revealing himself to Joe Chill, Thomas Wayne dressing up as Batman etc.), is still valid in post-Crisis continuity? Because the way Byrne and Aparo re-draw these events with a more modern style in 'The Untold Legend of the Batman' is pretty damn cool.

The b&w paperback is a reprint, not the original edition. It's been reprinted in a number of formats over the years. It was originally one of DC's very first miniseries. IIRC, the art is actually by Jim Aparo and John Byrne.

Yeah, I figured it was a reprint, dude. Like I said, It's drawn by Aparo and Byrne. And it's written by Len Wein. Good stuff if you can find it, there's probably a bunch of reprints like mine floating around.

Arune if I had a scanner I could pretty much scan it for you. I have issues 1# and 3# of this mini-series from the 1980's.
