OK, let's say that X-Men 3 does well. Well enough to warrant another movie or two.

What would you like to see? More importantly, who would you like to see in the new roles?

Me, I'd love to see Mr. Sinister. Bar none, he's my favorite villain, and given the themes of the last two movies, and what seems to be the theme of the new movie, I can see Sinister fitting in easily.

Personally, I would love to see Sean Bean in the role. I recently saw the movie THE ISLAND, and as I was struck by the fact that basically, Sean Bean was already PLAYING Sinister. The way he talked about the clones, so dispassionately, so detached from the fact that they had feelings and emotions...they were nothing but products to be used and disposed of as he saw fit...He didn't hate them, he didn't like them, he didn't really think about them. He'd put on a compassionate face, a 'human' face, when dealing with them, or the public, but in the end, he was amoral and ruthless and willing to do whatever it takes for the sake of his goal...to be like unto God.

I could so easily see Sinister in a new movie, taunting the X-Men with the events of the previous movies, telling them that everything they've gone through has been nothing but a series of trials he's been putting them through...And now that he has what he wants, he's done with them. It would be a claustrophobic, paranoid thriller of a movie...

Anyhow, that's a few of my thoughts. Anyone else?

Of course, I'd love to see Apocalypse too, since I think that could be a significantly epic film, if done right.

I couldn't see Mr. Sinister working, he's to lame looking and too camp for the general populice.

The sentinals being controlled by someone would make for a cool movie, and then finish off with Apocalypse, I can't think of many legendary bad guys to do now.

heh. Obviously, with the lame streamer cape...thing...he'd look ridiculous in a 'realistic' film. But that's just a look, it's not who Sinister IS. As we see in the films, looks change. They could effectively do Mr. Sinister without ever even calling him by that admittedly campy name...simply have the character use the Nathaniel Essex name.

and when he first appears the Prof. could turn to the camera and say
"I dunno; there's something Sinister about that guy."

I'd like to see Dr. Nathaniel Essex capturing mutants into Weapon X concentration camps. Some X-Men are captured, and we have some students graduate into fill-ins for the missing members. The New Mutants will be Moonstar, Magma, Sunspot, Cecilia Reyes, Chamber, and Skin (wanted to mix it up a bit).

If they could give him the 616 attitude in a more Ultimate version look. That would be cool.

The way they're talking, this will be the last one. They're going to reboot the series in a few years instead.

The new X-Men would be Havok and Polaris

The villian - Proteus

Havok led X-factor trying to capture a Malice-controlled Polaris. Sinister and Apocalypse guest star

I haven't seen anything to that effect. The impression I've gotten is that this is the last film with the original cast. But given that there are literally hundreds of characters in the X-verse, there's any number of ways they can start a new trilogy with a different set of characters that still fits into the continutiy established by the first three films.

I'd add our good friend Sam Guthrie into that mix

I think that this movie wont do as well for 2 reasons:

1) Bret ratner...he sucks

2)change in direction...notice how in the first 2 movies there werent that many mutants with physical deformities, but this time around the storie seems to revlove around them. Its too much of a chage and its gonna end up like joel schumaker in batman.

For these reasons there wont be a sequel, and marvel will once again go into bankruptcy.

Seeing as how Marvel has virtually nothing to do with the X-men movie license...no, they won't.

Spiral. Use Spiral. She's probably the only decent, film-adaptive villain they HAVEN'T crammed yet into X3.

uh, I just came back from watching King Kong.

Could Peter Jackson direct an X-film, please?

Here's a completely random idea, since the ages are all sitched up in the X flicks anyway...Matthew Mcoughnahey (sp) as Cannonball! I tried to think of a good blonde country-boy actor, and he's the only one that comes to mind. He could be the new swaggering badboy now that Logan and Scott have gotten all huggy/kissy over Jean's death...imagine : "Ah'm invulnerable when ah'm blastin'...you sum'bitch!"

I think they should not add any other X-Men, otherwise it's getting a bit to much. I fight against Apocalypse sounds great!

even if X3 bombs marvel still has the SPiderman Franchise which doesn't show signs of failing, Imean they have Green Goblin (or Hobgoblin depending on what they decide, either way Harry Osbourne as a goblin) and at least Venom for a movie. So theres at least one more movie after 3 either return of green goblin or if they do that in 3 maybe introduce Eddie Brock in 3 and have Venom, or srew continuity and have MJ;s spaceman ex-fiance become venom

I wonder what it'd be like if the adapted DoFP into the movieverse...

Proteus is a good idea, it'd make for an emotional movie for sure, and awesome effects. I'd rather they go for it in an Ultimate X-Men manner though. Just imagine...movie Moira. She's been long overdue.

But all this Magneto and Brotherhood stuff has been done to death. And it especially sucks that they're using Stacy X, Multiple Man, Omega Red, Callisto, etc. instead of ACTUAL Brotherhood members (Blob could easily replace Juggernaut -- Lorelei, Vertigo, Phantazia, Destiny, etc for female characters instead of lameazz beyatches like Callisto and Stacy, etc). I think they should have scrapped the whole "Cure/Brotherhood" angle and went with something more original. But what can you do?
