I'll delete if this is posted elsewhere, but I was at my local retailer last night picking up Catwoman: When in Rome HC (GREAT read, btw), and asked about IC #3. Said retailer told me it was now due the 29th. Anyone else here this?

I think it's been listed as coming out on the 29th for awhile. (or 28th)

Anyone know WHY it's delayed? I thought Jimminez was a fairly prompt penciller (I love how the artist is always the first to get blamed! LOL)
No actually it has been moved up to the 21st, so we'll have it next week.

It's not listed on Diamond's shipping list. It should be listed before the Invisibles trade.

DC doesn't update Diamond's shipping list every time there's a change and frequently leaves major books off. SUPERMAN/BATMAN notorious for delays (although it has shipped early almost as often as it has been delayed) almost never makes the list when it does ship.
Dan Didio is taking questions at Newsarama to be released with #3 next Wednesday.

It’s getting to be that time of month again - Crisis is looming…
Infinite Crisis #3 that is. Shifted up to an in-store date of December 21st from its previously announced delayed date of December 28th, readers will be able to learn just what the Earth-2 Superman had in mind at the end of Infinite Crisis #2when he said he was going to fix things so that the right earth could return.

Ah, so only a week late then.
I'm less nervous about 52's possible schedule, and a little more happy about this book now.

I'm glad to see it's only been pushed back a week instead of 2.

Diamond's "next week" books typically only reflect the original solicitation dates. Only rarely do they update this list; they usually wait until the following Monday and do all the updates on the final shipping list.
The DC website is actually more often accurate than this list--though it always contains errors as well. (Sometimes DC updates it and sometimes they don't.)

so that's next wednesday, right?
What kind of offer can the E-2 Superman be manking Batman? "Join me, and I'll merge you with your 60-plus year old doppelganger from a parallel Earth who just so happens to be dead." ;)

I fly home for Christmas at about 6am Wednesday. I will be there a full week. There is no comic shop in town. And it's an island. This was lousy timing. Grrr.
