Of the new X-Factor line-up, which character do you like the most?

Hard to chose. It's a pretty good selection of characters. My favourites are Madrox, Syrin and M.

The Lucky One

Madrox by far. And that's not a knock at all on the other characters, all of whom I find interesting; it's just that Jamie has far more potential for interesting psychological issues and quirks than any other Marvel character I can think of (I mean, he lived completely alone on a farm after his parents died for literally months, if not years, and no one has yet explored the effects of that), and he's criminally underused to boot. Not even a contest.

Madrox of course ...

Syrin will just be a subtitute for my Banshee-affection

M is not that bad either but leagues below Jamie

Rahne, because she's my favorite mutant next to Moonstar, Magik and Kitty. :)

I love all of them. They are all superb characters. I picked Wolfsbane, with Siryn as a close second.

In this context, I have to go with Jamie, with Terry and Rahne close behind.

It's a great cast as whole, but M is by far my favorite. I can't wait to see what a brilliant writer like PAD does with her.

Out of all the characters, my favorite is Rahne, closely followed by Madrox and Strong Guy.

Ant-Man

GUIDO!!!!!!!! He is the man with the giant muscularly deformed body, that contains a tender heart of gold.

Its easier to choose my least favorite than my favorite.

I really like Madrox, M, and Rictor though David can make me like any character. I voted M to show support to a character from a book Quesada so strongly writes off.

I LOVE Siryn so much! I am so glad to see her in a book again! A close second would be Madrox, then Wolfsbane and M. Heck I like them all except Layla Miller. I know she's relatively new and could turn out to be a cool character, but her very presence leaves a bad taste of House of M in my mouth.

My fave is Madrox. I find him to be the most interesting character in the group. With PAD writing I'm sure that Layla Miller will turn out to be a great character.

I like all of them, but my faves are Ric, Jamie, Terry, and Rahne. The only one I'm uncertain about it Layla Miller. It's too early for me to have an opinion.

I like em all, but Siryn is one of my most favorites. Even though both Guido & Jamie come next.

Is Valerie Cooper their human liason or is it someone else? I'm just curious because Valerie was one of my favorites. She also has ties to Kyle Gibney aka Wild Child.

Seconded ! I love Syrin and so glad she is back from limbo and/or salvaged from X-Force . Now all i could wish for are appearances by Deadpool , her definitive soulmate :D :p .
Well as for layla , i'm kinda lad she's here , i wanna see and learn more about her , and so far HoM didnt left me any bad or sour taste .

I like them all, but Jamie Madrox is magic under Peter David's pen; he is certainly the most diverse given his multiple selves is just aspects of his own personality. In effect, Madrox is a multiple personality without the multiple personality disorder. I wish Lorna Dane & Alex Summers were part of the cast.

i'm somehow living with the(weak) hope that someone else replaces Milligan , decide to really changes members and leaving free for PAD to use havok and Polaris , of course that is , if he want them back.

I would add X-Men back to my pull list if Peter David was hired to write the book, but I doubt he woud even accept the offer given he would have too much editorial interference and/or too much X-Men baggage.

Monet, and then Layla, then Jamie for sure. Rahne is fun and so is Rictor, but my first two are just blessed with the best dialogue.

Guido is being shunted to the side with LUMMOX STRONG GUY syndrome (a la Rockslide and Thing) but I trust PAD.

They're all fabulous characters. It's hard to pick a favorite.

He was so much funnier in PAD's original run.

He's really been the background so far, hasn't he? He was my favorite X-Factor member in the past because he was so quick-witted, but it seems now all the comedy is coming from M and Layla (snideness, more in the vein of David's Quicksilver). Hopefully, he'll get some love in upcoming issues, or at least someone will explain where his sense of humor went. (Personally, I think it left around 106 when Todd DeZago started writing him with a Brooklyn accent.)

Yeah. X-factor MkII (Pietro, Jamie, Rahne, Alex, Lorna, Guido and sometimes Random) was an exceptionally well-done book. The art wasn't always there, but it was a good read. Too bad it fell apart after they Legaci'ed Jamie.

Current X-factor is very similar but I miss all the good humor of MkII.

Among Mk1 X-factor, "tortured Warren" all the way.

Under Peter David's pen, I think Jamie Madrox is one of the most interesting characters in comicdom, so he got my vote. But Monet is right up there -- I didn't know anything about her before this series began, and had only ever seen her two or three times, but I'm really falling for her and think she's incredibly entertaining.

Monet is the second funniest character in X-Factor, next to Guido. She's a badass chick who knows there's no competition on the team when it comes to looks. I like her personality. Guido is my second favorite character mainly b/c he makes me laugh so hard.

Rahne: Some bad news, Guido... Sean Cassidy is dead.
Guido: Aw, that's too bad! Man, I remember him from "The Hardy Boys."
Rahne: What?
Guido: "Hardy Boys." Him and, what's his name, Kirstie Alley's ex. And he did a nice cover of "Da Doo Ron Ron..."

Oh, Guido.

I like Rahne and Madrox, but I gotta say, i feel absolutely nothing for M. I just keep wondering... When is she actually gonna do something interesting? Siryn's definately a rising star in my mind, I just wish that they didn't have to cut Rahne's hair in order to distinguish her from Siryn... Cuz I think that's what she is doing.

Layla I love this character and she really is a perfect foil, with Guido she is comic relief, with Rahne she is a scared child, with Rictor she is a dark being and with Quicksilver...

Monet is one of my favorite female characters in comics. Actually, I could say that about all the female X-Factor members. I have to admit, I really don't know much about her other than what I have read in this series, but she seems to know who she is and is more fun to read than people like Kitty Pride.

This is a difficult pole- it looks like Guido isn't getting much love, because I'm sure he's many people's second or third favorite character. They are all great characters.

I can't remember the last time I read a team book where I was more interested in the female characters than with this current team. Siryn is awesome (personality wise she should be the leader), and I can't get enough of M.
