Guys I read a preivew issue of Generation M #2 with Jubilee and...I LIKED IT!

Jenkins has Jubilee coap very well with the events of M-Day. She sees herself as the same person she's always been but without the "Pyrotechnics" and she DID finally call the X-Men...but all they told her was they're busy (wish this was handled better). It's revealed that Jubilee has known Sally for 4 years and Jubilee is working for her paper now. Jubilee also is revealed to be very political. Bascially Jubilee HAS matured very fast...and she appears to look older actually. Jenkins is doing her justice IMO. BUT the one thing that's worried me is the last thing she's said. She'll get to teh bottom of it "Even if I die trying" YIKES!

Oh and also...don't expect any anger rants about the possibility of her being killed off to come from me anymore because...

Believe it or not...after reading this issue...I wouldn't be that mad if they kill her off in this mini. Already I can tell Jenkins really cares for this character. I've already got the feeling that, if she does die, we at least don't have to worry about it being a BAD and CHEAP death. From what I can tell, her death will mean something...if it happeneds. Also, I'm at least glad to know that, leading up to it, we've FINALLY gotten the Jubilee we've always wanted...one that's older looking and acts her age.

While I don't want her to die, I am glad it seems that she is handled well in this book. :)

Ok guys shot me if you must but there was a rather small error on my part. Now remember, I did my little review from memory of reading a preview issue, I didn't have it in front of me. Anyway...

I was wrong about Jubilee saying she'd get to the bottom of it or die trying...WAY wrong. First though let me explain something that led up to what she actually said. She points out to Sally Floyd (main character of Generation M) that she finally knows how Sally feels...to loose something precious. For Sally it was her daughter, for Jubilee it was her powers. The thing I mistook her for saying was, and I KNOW it's connected to what I just stated, she actually said "I'll get through this even if it kills me." then after that it leads to Sally narrating "She asked me how I was doing? I told her good." Or something like that but basically that means jubilee comment was connected to her getting through her loosing her powers. She even admits though that she's gotten better than most. Also one other thing, about the whole calling the X-Men...actually they told her their hands were full adn she admitted she understood and left it at that. VERY mature if you ask me.

Check this out from UXN's Monday with Mart

Trevor -- Ever since your live chat at CBR fans have been hounding me to ask you about your comments regarding Jubilee. What’s the X-Offices stance on her (is she being axed or not) and what can the fans expect to see from their former-crackling girl-wonder?

Marts -- Axed? As in “dead”? Did I give that impression? If so, I am sorry. Jubilee is de-powered (see GENERATION M), but she’s alive and well.

I saw that. Jubilee will indeed survive. I'll take your word for Jenkins writing a good Jubilee.

Out of curiosity, which of the X-Men told her that they are busy? Emma, yes? Because if Logan said that, then I would have a few problems.
