Does he appear in any other volumes? I need a few more chapters with him in it
His next and only real significant appearance after that would be in chapters 96 to 102 (at the end of volume 12 and the beginning of volume 13) when Benitora and Sasuke Sarutobi go to prevent the Mibu Clan from taking Edo.

I have just finished watching the TV series for SDK the week before Christmas.

I must say that it was good, but not that good.

Since I had nothing better to do. I tried to find the manga in the net. The manga is way better than the TV series. In fact I'm transforming into an SDK obsessive fan because of that. Hehe!

Anyway, I'm still in Volume 7 so far. The source I'm leeching from only has up to volume 11 though. If you know any web site where I can get the rest of the manga it will be greatly appreciated!

PS. Yuya in the manga is not like the useless Yuya in the TV series. She actually has character there! (Not a useless sidekick like in the TV series.)

If you are refering to the Anime series, its probably Kyoshiro Mibu.

list is incomplete
I would put Tokito and Shinrei on the same level as Akira and Hotaru and maybe move Yuan a bit higher than them. Chinmei and Shihoudou should probably also be higher though they don't really have many feats to prove it, especially Chinmei since he can use the True Red Eyes...

It's hard to say. I would put Nobunaga in a lower position though, even in his second body I don't think he was a match for any of the Four Elders.

Can anyone here read japanese clearly? I think I found another lightspeed feat. IIRC in the Yuan vs Hotaru fight, it's started they were fighting at lightspeed.

The Manga is good, i saw 10 minutes of the anime on youtube. It does not do Kyo justice. Very cheaply animated, and complrtly changed the story. for example, in the manga and in reality, THERE WAS NO METEOR IN THE BATTLE OF SEKIGAHARA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: :evilangry

Yup, it was just the battle between Kyo and Kyoshiro. Nothing disturbed their fight.

From what I remember it was a draw, in the end Kyo used Suzaku and Yukimura used Sekireigan and they came out even.

The anime ran for 26 episodes while the manga had 307 chapters.

IIRC Julian reforged it and gave it to Tokito so she could use it to help open up the way to the Crimson King's heart since her old True Muramasa sword had been destroyed by the Crimson King. Not sure if she kept it after that or not.

Do you think what Anthony did with those needles, to Hotaru, Shinrei, and Benitora, able to do the same thing with Yukimura? since Yuki does have samurai blood in him, is it possible and do you think it already has been done, since no one was able to fight Aka no Ou better than he did, besides Kyo and Kyoshiro

Awesome man thanks, actually Crimson King (the guy on this site, prolly find him on this page or the previous one) has an SDK forum, so we're trying to get that as big as we can, also there is an SDK wikipedia type thing going on which we could edit our own SDK chars on it, mind you it's not wiki, it's just an SDK version of wiki.

I also am in despreate need of people to translate SDK for me, so if we have an translators in the house (jap to eng) holla at me lol

Hi, I am new to this forum, but not new to the series. I appologize in advance if this question offends any uber fans but what can I say I am having a brain lapse. I also appologize if this question has been asked before. I did not read any of the other posts becasue I am keeping up with the manga as it comes out, so I am only up to vol 27 and I do not want to read any spoilers. I know this has been mentioned, but please avoid the series. It's like a poor man Inuyasha combined with a very poor man's Samurai X. The show nothing but still frames and bad dialog.

That sounds like the anime you're referring to, the manga is quite a bit better.

hmm i know this is a bit old, but i just finished reading all 38 volumes of the manga. one of the best manga i ever read though...

but i have one question which i cannot find the answer, or probably there is no answer to it.

in the manga, during akira's battles he always had this memory of a dying woman. i take it as his wife/girlfriend or someone very important. i was actually hoping that the mangaka will develop that part of the story but it seemed till the end this was not revealed.

did i miss out the revelation of akira's past or did the mangaka simply forget to do that part of the story? someone help please. thanks.

hmm did i remember it wrongly? i do remember that his flashback had been about saisei a few times. but i thought he had the memory of another woman before he fought saisei.

well before Saisei I don't think he fights anyone else personally, I mean he barely put any muscle into hotaru and Nobunaga before.

He fought Saisei and Saishi, and at that point he respected Saisei's will to live and to protect Shinrei.

He later went on to fight the True Kubira, and Tokito. Both in which he remembered Saisei, and Bontenmaru respectively.

I'm confused about the timeline wherein Kyo hung around Kyoshiro/Sakuya and the Shisheiten. Did Kyo abandon one group for the other (and if so, who came first), or did he just flip-flopped between either group depending on his mood?

I have a question about the chronology of the events...

When Kyo meets Mahiro and Mayumi to get the Tenro, he seems to be in the body of Kyoshiro (short hair).

But Mahiro (when she meets Kyo again to kill him) that this event happened 4 years ago (so I guess a lil after the battle of sekigahara)

But.. how come?

Didn't Kyo already have the Tenro at the battle of sekigahara? (If so, this mean Mayumi was killed before the battle and Kyo can grow 4 foot long hair in a week)

If not, (this happened while he was in Kyoshiro's body), how come Kyoshiro would let Kyo surface?

I read on wiki that Kyo was being trained by Muramasa when this event happened... then left and met with the four emperors... Which would be really weird since only 4 years has passed since this event and the "current" event in the story. (But during those 4 years, Kyo had time to meet with the emperors, find Akira as a boy, train him for a few years, leave, meet with Kyoshiro and Sakuya, rejoin the Emperors and fight at the battle of Sekigahara)

If someone can come up with a complete timeline of all the events (and indicate the timespan between each) that would be great!
