Well, the evil Pitiful One and four of his deceased cohorts are going to find out! They know that Doctor Strange holds the mystery to cold beer, warm sandwiches, and Sunday afternoon naps in his head, and they’ll do anything to get that one-way ticket back to the land o’ the living! Even if it means killing everyone in their path...
Good thing Doctor Strange and Dead Girl are gathering an all-star team of dead heroes to best them! Featuring Dead Ant-Man, Dead Mysterio, Dead Anarchist, Dead Mister Sensitive, and a host more!

Maybe it's a reverse on the 616 Nightcrawler--Instead of Kurt questioning his faith, he'll be questioning his sexuality?
That'd be kinda cool, I admit.

I doubt it, though. Marvel wouldn't let two established characters turning out gays in the Ultimate Universe.

Mixed feelings this month.
Generation M 5- Nope. I hate this book.
Cable and Deadpool 26- Sounds awesome, but where the heck is Patrick Zircher? This better only be a fill-in. I'll of course be reading it.
Exiles 78- It's got Longshot, so I'm in.
New Excalibur 5- Doesn't sound very interesting, but this is still currently one of the best X-Men books, so I'm reading it.
Son of M 4- Because of House of M, I don't like Pietro much anymore. I won't be reading this.
New X-Men 24- I'll read it, but I wish that they would move past Stryker already. Do we need two arcs with him? There are plenty of other great X-villains to use instead. A lot of them appear on the cover of NXM 22.
Sentinel Squad O*N*E* 4- I'll pass.
X-Factor 5- I hope Siryn is okay!!! I love the character!! I'm definitely picking this up.
Storm 2- Sounds icky. I'll pass.
Uncanny X-Men 471- Heh. History repeats itself. Phoenix going to murder people who murdered innocent people. And her teammates might stop her. That sounds very familiar ;) Thanks Marvel for a break from Bachalo. I can't wait for this issue.
X-Men 184- Only reading this because of Apocalypse. The bad art and bad writing keeps me away from this book.
X-Men: Deadly Genesis 5- The first time Emma met Charles? So it's not UXM 129?? Brubaker writes too many stories about the past. Anyway, I'm enjoying this for the most part, so I'll keep reading.
X-Men: Apocalypse Vs. Dracula 2- Don't much care for Dracula. I'll pass.
X-Men: The 198 3- This sounds very cool. I still don't like how Karma, Magma, and Empath are part of the 198. They should be X-Men. Otherwise, it sounds very interesting.
X-Statix Presents: Dead Girl 3- I will definitely pass. I hate X-Statix.
X-Men: The End - Men and X-Men 3- This story rocks. It's the perfect fit for any X-Men fanatic. I bet the mastermind behind all of this is D'Ken :evilsmile

I bet the Nightcrawler thing is a fake out. Peter will probably just come out of the closet and they will bond over Peter being gay and Kurt looking like a demon. Fine by me though. Gay people already get enough comparisons to beastiality.
Comic book readers do not have girlfriends, and if they do their girlfriends certainly don't read comic books. Craziness.

Okay, after reading the solits, I hereby predict that this time next year, Marvel will do Days of Future Past as main continuity. Which I approve of. Then we can get it over with and not have it hanging over the X-Men's heads all the time!
Seriously, at this point, I hope to God that Lila Cheney hasn't been depowered. That way we can just move the entire mutant population to the Dysonsphere for a few years, until homo-sapiens calms down.

Actually, I'm just speculating here, but I wonder if she'll be a key player (of sorts) in Wand'ring Star. Not just because Sam is on the team, but hey, they need to get into space somehow, right?

Um...I never said that. How many covers have they shown us were it shows a Villian standing over bodies of the X-Men? Hell the Deadly Genesis covers alone do it. well there is xmen #183 which they dont have an image for from last month so maybe another horseman is revealed on that cover and i want to see that one, i just love that cover.
by the way where do you think this is set what is that thing metal man is lying on a part of xaviers mansion ? or maybe just a random rock. What i would want to happen xaviers mansion to be destroyed because in the last few issue's of xmen sentinel's seem to have been tripping over there home which seems stupid because milligan will forget that they've done that and some then the mansion can then get thier guns and stuff which portect the school back online because that seems to of gone but saying that they do have the sentinel's now to save them. i hope in this arc sentinels are included in the fight against apoc that would be brilliant i would treasure the arc for ever. I'm not being picky but i think this sounds like the best xmen arc since milligan joined but i am injoying this current 3 issue arc.

X-Men contains spoilers so be aware it has to do w/ the Horsemen.
I really want to know who the heck this guy is on the cover of X:men Deadly Genesis. The cover is nice. Reminds me of a mix of Scott and Alex just on serious crack.
As for the other X-men cover spoiler (adjectiveless) all I can say is SWEET!!

From the minute Sunfire was crippled in Rogue, I new he'd be taking on his AoA look.
Wonder how this horseman will respond when he sees Rogue because she stole his powers.

SENTINEL SQUAD O*N*E #3 (of 5)
Written by JOHN LAYMAN
Penciled by AARON LOPRESTI
Cover by PASQUAL FERRY
Let’s do the math. Giant robots plus dinosaurs equals a nonstop action explosion-thon! The new recruits of the Sentinel Squad are sent to the Savage Land on a highly dangerous rescue mission. But when the squad realizes that this mission means certain death, are they willing to go against their orders to escape being digested by a T. Rex?!
32 PGS./T+ SUGGESTED FOR TEENS AND UP ...$2.99
I wonder if the T-Rex they are talking about is just 'a' T-Rex or the T-Rex we've seen in the Uncanny issues of House of M.......!

To be honst, with a name like "Larroca Fan, I don't think anyone was expecting you to not like the covers.
They are ok sometimes, but sometimes a bit mundane.

That xmen cover looks beautiful and great we have a new colourist and he makes larroca's art fab
It's not a new colorist. Listen and Lusen(the colorist on this cover)are the founders of Liquid colors. So Liquid colors is still the colorist on X-Men.

According to the Deadly Genesis cover and from what we saw in issue #1, it looks like Thunderbird now has electrical powers of some kind. So now he really is a "thunder" bird.

Considering it looks nothing like him. And is a generic white guy, not native american... I'm pretty sure it's certainly not. Especially given Scott didn't know who he was. :p

But since John has come back from the dead, he could have changed in appearence as well as changed powers.

I'd call shenanigans on the whole idea, if that's what happens.
Especially given that Thunderbird was cremated, his body wasn't in a frozen space turd.

I guess the main reason I think it is John, is because the color scheme on the mystery guy's costume is the same as Thunder Birds. And the electrical powers see very "thunderish" in nature.

i don't in any way see how people still think the villain in deadly genesis is thunderbird. they look nothing alike nor do any of the story's clues thus far about his identity lead to thunderbird. seeing as how cyclops has been on 2 covers with just the villain alone, it's likely the villain is the third summers brother.

Why would Brubaker want the mystery guy to obviously be Thunderbird after only 1 issue? It would ruin the suspense of the character, so obviously he is trying to make us all believe it is not Thunderbird with the clues we have seen in issue #1.

your argument of saying this character is thunderbird even though we've senn what he looks like (nothing like john proudstar ever did) and has powers thunderbird never had doesn't really hold up well. it was a good original quess back when we hadn't seen the mystery character's face, but now that we have it's kind of dead in the water. it just doesn't make sense anymore given what we've seen and what's been hinted at.

Would the change in appearance and new powers make it a new person? Atleast Betsy had the same powers when she body swapped. Lemme open this pint of Jack and than I'll try and follow that logic.

It's bi-monthly.
Understand that?
Once every two months.
It's solicited in Marvel's February previews.
March is ONE month after February.
Two months after february, is April!
Got that?
Good!
