View Full Version : Stuff 'X-Men: Deadly Genesis' needs to be complete (Humor)

Here are a few things that, if any or all of them are used, could make X-Men: Deadly Genesis live up to it's title.

1.) A Sega Genesis. Maybe it could even kill someone ala 'The Ring' to complete the title? A truely killer game of Sonic the Hedgehog (or whatever someone's favorite Genesis game was. Phantasy Star 2 maybe?)

2.) The Book of Genesis from the Bible. Maybe it could give someone a papercut, and that person eventually bleeds to death via the cut (again, to tie in with the name of the mini)

3.) The Band Genesis. Not sure how someone could be killed listening to music (although I'd imagine it'd involve Phil Collin's using someone's head a drum), but hey, weirder things have happened.

4.) The X-Villian Genesis. Yeah Wolverine killed him years ago. Death doesn't seem to stop other x-villians though, why him?

And I'm sure I missed something else with 'Genesis' in it's name, but it's late, and this is a pretty wonky joke to begin with.

How about the planet Genesis from Star Trek: Wrath of Khan? Whoever dies can be reborn, ala Spock! Oh wait, it exploded...nevermind :D

Well if it exploded while someone was on it, I suppose it could be considerd a "Deadly Genesis" :D

How about:

Tyler Dayspring (Genesis) and Phil Collins (Drummer for the Band Genesis) killing an X-Man with a Sega Genesis and the book of Genesis while on the planet Genesis?

All the ideas rolled up into one!

Any excuse to get Phil Collins into comics is good for me.

Yes, but the story has to involve a mistake in NASA's Gensis project leading everyone to Star Trek's Gensis Planet.

If you're including Genesis, you need to involve Home By The Sea, one of their better songs. And since it's the official theme song of Jamie Madrox, he should probably be involved as well. Which would actually kind of make sense, given the chronology of things- Madrox first appeared in Giant-Size Fantastic Four #4 and, at the end of the story, was shown being taken back to the mansion by Xavier. That was in 1974... the All-New team popped up in 1975, sans Madrox, who was next seen on Muir Island a couple years later. What if Xavier sent Jamie to Muir but kept a dupe at the mansion to study, and this dupe was part of the "X-Men 1.5" team so many fans have been theorizing, that died on Krakoa?

Huh. Anyway, Home By The Sea. Definitely.
