This is my feeble attempt to make a thread, so please bear with me.

I was out shopping last night for some Christmas Cards to send with gifts for a few friends at a local store. Of course after that I wandered to the the electronics and then to Toys on my way out of the store. Usually I look at the G. I. Joes, Fantastic Four, Marvel Legends, Batman and Spider-man toys nothing really caught my eye. Then I turn around and see Batmobiles by CORGI on a diecast of 1:43 Scale. Now I got a few of these last Christmas as stocking stuffers. Just in luck, I happen to know each one of my friends favorite Batmobile and they had them all there. So I scooped up a few of them as a extra little stocking stuffer for them with their gifts. Who doesn't like the Batmobile, right? I picked up the Redbird (since they make very few Robin toys,) and a 60's Batmobile for myself. I still would like to get the Robin motorcycle one.

These things are pretty accurate to the comics, animation, and movie adaptation of Batmobiles, and various other vehicles. Doing a google search on them that they will release Wave 3 next year with Batman/Danger Girl Batmobile, 2004 Teen Titans Batmobile, 1968 Comic Book Batmobile, Child of Dreams Batmobile. Here (http://www.toymania.com/toyshows/tf2005/corgi.shtml) and Here (http://store.sputniktoys.com/batmobiles.html) are some of the items they have released thus far.

One of my favorite toys as a kid in the 70's was The Exploding Bridge Playset that came with Joker, Penguin, Batman, Robin and of course The Exploding Bridge.

So I guess I have been rambling long enough.

What has been some of your most memorable holiday Batman Toy you recieved?

or

What Batman item would you like to receive in the future?

Around the time that the first Tim Burton Batman movie came out, I recieved a couple of Batman gifts.

The best was the Untold Legend of the Batman, with accompanying audio cassette. It really got me into Batman, and introduced most of his rogues gallery to me (my previous Batman experience was limited to the movie, and the Adam West show).

My worst Batman related Christmas gift? The BOB THE GOON action figure, that same Christmas. I can't believe they made an action figure of that guy.

Sweet power kick.
