The OYL solicits are out and we won't even have a third issue til the 28th. Byth the time 6 is out, we'll have months worth of post-IC solicits, thus, making it easy to figure out and blowing any surprise. i'd like to not have everyone at the comic shop talking about the ending before the the story is over.
i love this story, but you can't do a universe-wide crossover without making sure the parts come out in order and on time.

You must not be reading the solicits...

Besides the solicits not really giving away too much of the IC storyline, people could just not read the solicits until a month or so before the books come out.

Really, the solits haven't given all that much away. They certainly don't reveal any major revelations about the story in IC (not that I saw, anyway). They've also blacked out some images to keep things secret.

So even if the series was running on schedule, we still would've seen the first OYL solicits before issue 3 hit the stands. DC knows what they're doing; they won't be blowing the ending of INFINITE CRISIS in any of its solicits.
Though if INFINITE CRISIS continues to fall off schedule, the series could get in trouble.

Well....some things don't make sense. For example, the invasion of OMACS in IC#2 and WW#223 are COMPLETELY different.

Well, they're focused on different parts of the invasion.

Not really. For one, the way they were defending against the OMACS are completely different. The Amazons in IC#2 were just throwing spears like primitive Neanderthals while the Amazons (in full body armour) were using guns and cannon fire.
Also Wonder Woman appeared to Artemis differently in both books.

Thought I'd share my IC #1 story.
I went to a store I don't go to too much, just because they had INFINITE CRISIS #1 in their store first (they open earliest, and I called ahead). The boards here had spoiled one thing (I wanted to see what was in the spolier tags), and I walked in knowing that ONE THING. Not everything. I was happy and wanted everything else to be a surprise. That last page STILL would have been... because I hadn't even seen the cover to issue #2 fully revealed yet.
So I'm looking around for back issues after snagging my copy of IC #1 (without opening it)... and the stockperson gets on a cell phone in the middle of the store, blabbing about each and every one of the returns at the end of the issue that I didn't even know about. I was furious!
It's one thing if I seek it out. I want to know.
It's another to have just taken it off the shelf and before I'm even a few feet away, hear it yelled into a stupid cell phone.

Um, if there wasn't a "One Year Later" I'd be more inclined to agree.
But.....well, stories in March are happening "One Year Later."
A lot can happen in that year.
Besides, if #3 had been on time, your assumption says something in #3 is intregal to all of these stories in March '06...
