With Teen Titans ending, the Robin-embargo on The Batman ends and Robin will be joining the cast of that series.

The Batman: TAS fans must really be pissed now. Bet some of you ATT haters wished that the show is not canned right now.

Brilliant folks WB is. They cancelled Teen Titans, a guilty pleasure worthy show, and JLU may be at risk to be next yet they are milking THIS.
Marvel please come up with a animated TV show so us comic fans wont have to suffer another The Batman season.

They're not forcing you to watch it, are they?
As for the Teen Titans cancellation, isn't that WB/CN policy? Once a show hits X number of episodes, it's ended. Or did I miss something?

Clearly you misunderstood what I was talking about. WB would cancell decent shows like Teen Titans or possibly JLU while The Batman, the most hated animated DCU show, is kept for another season.

Besides I find that policy as a BS reason for cancelling a show anyway.

Most series have a 52 episode limit and a 13 episode season (although the original JL had a 26 episode season). This is the reason why Justice League was retitled Justice League Unlimited after JL hit that 52 mark.
Teen Titans actually bucked this trend when it was renewed for a 5th season. But since Cartoon Network passed on the 6th season, the series will end at episode 65.
The Batman has been renewed for a 4th season, which should bring its total episode count to at least 52. After that, who knows.
JLU is in an interesting boat. Because CN considers JLU a seperate show from Justice League, that means this current season is the 3rd season, and the show will have at least 39 episodes.

I'm just not clear on how THE BATMAN's continued existence is making you suffer. Don't like it? Don't watch it. Some people must like it, otherwise WB wouldn't keep making it.

What you said is pretty much how I feel about folks who always complain about ATT or The Current Star Wars Trilogy. But you have folks that will still complain about how bad either of them is regardless.
You may have some that just wont watch the show and not compalin and thare are others that do the opposite.

I dunno, but I can tell you that I have had to hand out more warnings, delete more posts, and in one particularly deranged case, actually ban someone from here, over cartoons than everything else combined. Not even in the days when Buffy and Angel were airing regularly has there been so much strife over a particular topic.
Honestly, it baffles me. I'm 44 and I'm telling you, as someone who grew up at the mercy of the networks, no home video of any kind, reading about new comic-related cartoons premiering in the fall and hoping that THIS TIME it wouldn't be crap... and then getting stuff like the original Super Friends or the Filmation Batman with Bat-Mite...dear God. Compared to that you guys are living in a renaissance.

So that in itself could make a case that the existence of THE BATMAN is making him suffer, or at least preventing him from enjoying the portrayal of certain characters in JLU.

That's how I feel. The JLU's version of the Legion of Doom should have Riddler and Scarecrow in it. Maybe even Joker and Catwoman.

Well I guess that the word 'decent' like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I finally tuned in to watch TT and I couldn't see what the big deal was. It's a silly animaeish cartoon. With a bunch of characters just jumping up and down going. Like watching a bunch of grade school kids high on sugar.
But the last I heard, the Batman cartoon was a rating phenomenon. No it's not as good as TAS but on the hand it was never meant to be.
I am sort of disapointed that Robin will be added the cartoon. Bruce/Batman is so much cooler without him. Who knows, maybe this will be the death knell of the cartoon.

I don't watch Teen Titans, The Batman or the new Transformers show at all.
Nor do I buy underwear with the Batman logo, take my lunch to work in a Teen Titans lunchbox or spend my leisure time filling in a Transformers colouring book.
As long as a show targeted and marketed to kids is impressing them and making them think "Batman is cool!", who cares what 20\30-something nerds think about them?
Frankly, they should try experiencing something a little more grown-up and demanding.

Like what? TV is terrible nowadays. I don't watch any of these cartoons, but would watch TAS or JLU if it were on.
The only thing I watch with any regularity is Lost. Roll on the next season of Dr. Who.

As far as anime and cartoons go I only watch anime on Adult Swim and would sometimes watch Naruto. The only cartoon I feel thats worth watching is Avatar: The Last Airbender on Nickelodeon.
I dont give a damn about the rest.

ah ha ha ha.. i completely agree. Also, its good to have a Batman cartoon on regular network TV. Its no TAS but sure beats most other TV programming.
