I think he's kinda interesting, and his skits are better than the absurd Undertakers ones from Smackdown.

Undecided until I actually get to see him mix it up for real, and not just in a squash match.

Absurd or not , i always enjoyed those undertaker lightning and fire effects, blue eerie lights , misty fog plus the druids chanting. :D

Haha , isn't Boogeyman more comedic than creepy ? I guess for a 3-4 yr old , he might be scary what with the red face and all , like i imagine the undertaker would be when he first appeared.

It's all over the top and crazy, but I like it too. I wish that the lightning strikes could be part of his entrance or something, like how Kane has the fire come from the ringposts. Maybe it's too dangerous or something.

Yup. I like the guy, I think he's funny. I love the forearm smash/pin combo that he uses.

I dont like him but I have to applaud the guy for trying to make the gimmick work. At least WWE isn't using Boogeyman for some main event push like they did with Eugene.

His segment on Raw was funny.

When I was a kid I once had a nightmare about The Undertaker trying to put me in a bodybag.

You can watch his Titantron video at WWE.com, with music in full effect. Great tune. Waiting for someone to use it on a YTMND.com spoof.

So far I'm finding the character pretty funny. I know this is pure Wrestlecrap, but it's great stuff to watch so far. And not even in the "car wreck that you can't help but look at" way.............yet.

The gimmick is so over the top it is comedy. I have a feeling it is supposed to be cheesy wrestlecrap. That doesn't make it bad or unentertaining.

I have to admit I like the way he enters the ring it reminds me alot of a cross between the Kane red lights and Papa
Shango, with the smoking staff.....The worms are a neat effect the problem I have with him though is I've seen him in a couple matches and I think all together the matches last about thirty seconds and he only did two moves.

I really like him, one of the few reasons I watch Smackdown.

In a comical way, The Boogeyman RULES!

I think his story is that he's an actor from an UPN show that failed to make the aire and he thinks that he really is the character that he was to play on the show.

Where'd you get that from?

I figure that out when Garason Cannon (the network guy) interduce him to Teddy Long as "the star of UPN's newest show The Boogeyman" Then Cannon added something like they didn't have a time slot to put it in. And he came into the office doing his I'm the Boogeyman thing.

they should make mention of that on tv more often. an actor that never snapped out of his role gimmick is one i've yet to see before.

I think that Boogeyman is pretty awesome. If you dont like him, or think he's lame, give him time. Look at wrestlers like The Rock, or Kurt Angle. They were kind of crappy at first, but now there two of the biggest stars in the wrestling biz.

Your comparing Boogeyman to someone like Kurt Angle?! He's nowhare near the level that Kurt is.

Yeah, but the stuff he's doing now is just ridiculous with Randy Orton, like possessing Josh Matthews.

The Boogey Man thing seems to be getting over, at least in the short run. I can't see the character being anything long term though as it just seems to be another take on Papa Shango.

Kurt Angle could wrestle better than most in his first forays in the ring. He's a one of a kind.

The Rock took a while to get his personality in check, but once he did he was a superstar. As for his in ring skills, he may not have ever done a whole lot of original moves, but he knew how to put style and signature in every single move he did.

The Boogey Man, like most, is nowhere near that level and probably won't reach it.

Besides the fact that he's in these squash matches (much like Bobby Lashely) and the worm-eating (just really unnessecary and stupid-looking), I have no complaints about him.

He seems to have a good physique for his size like Kane, so as someone already posted I'm ready to see him mix it up in a real matchup and see what's really in the tank. I think he's going places if the "E" uses him correctly.

Other than you're watching too much wrestling, no.

FYI - for those who aren't aware of it - the Boogeyman is the brainchild of Shane McMahon. Everything we see him do was Shane's idea.

Knowing that was what actually perked my interest in the character.
